Default How much scent is appropriate?

    visit-red-300x50PNG
    Was

    wondering everyone's thoughts on this.....

Obviously you have more room to mess around in nighttime social

    situations

    But.....

    What is appropriate for

    -Work (Office Environment)

    - Classroom

    setting

    -Family gathering

I often find myself with my hands tied behind my back cause I got to

keep the smells of the scented mone products down or the covers.

work: always put on alot less. Like

1 spray. Cuz some people are allergic and we should respect that. Some places actually have a policy with wearing

    colognes and perfumes.

School pretty much the same thing: Always annoying to smell good or bad perfume first

thing 8:30 in the morning. Women who you usually see caking on the makeup wear too much perfume.

    Family

gathering: I stick to light to moderate amounts. Something appropriate or casual. Something more sophisticated and

casual. (Aqua De Gio?) Less of the citrus/modern stuff I save that stuff for the evenings/nites out.

    Want a

fresh modern scent that smell great? Beyond Paradise by Lauder. Smells like cucumber and girls love it.

    i don't like cologne's too

much either, but these mones do need a cover scent.
typically i wear 1-3 sprays of cologne to everything. No one

seems to mind anywhere i go, and i rarely get compliments so, i dunno. When i go out to clubs i wear my special

    cologne that i love though.

    bjf,

    "Everyone has a personal

scent circle which extends an arm's length from the body.
No one should be aware of your fragrance unless he or

    she steps inside your circle."

(Annette Green, President of the Fragrance Foundation, NYC)

    I've always

considered Annette's rule a pretty good guideline. Certainly specific situations and venues would suggest you apply

more (raves) or less (funerals) on occasion, but I would try to stay within a 50% variation (.5 to 1.5

    Arm's-length).

Due to the miniscule quantities of pheromones that it takes to elicit a response, I've always

assumed that the pheros will range farther than the fragrance. My experiences also tend to support this

    assumption.
