Boltzmann Institute for Urban Ethology has MANY articles and research projects sure to be of interest to LS forum

denizens. They cover everything from mirroring

(http://evolution.anthro.univie.ac.at...dia/dance.html) to laughter and non-verbal signals in

    opposite sex meetings (http://evolution.anthro.univie.ac.at.../laughter.html) to

the scent of fear (http://www.nel.edu/23_2/NEL230202R01_Grammer.htm) through research in the 'mones we

all know and love (http://evolution.anthro.univie.ac.at.../pheropro.html). Added

props include working with JVK, along with linking to his site.

    Karl Grammer and other colleagues

from Vienna co-authored with me for the award-winning review article Human Pheromones: Integrating

Neuroendocrinology and Ethology, which appeared in Neuroendocrinology

    Letters:

Karl also is one of the most widely

known ethologists in the world, and Astrid Jutte studied under his professorship when they reported the copulin

induced increase in male testosterone production. I met both Karl and Astrid in the late 90's at a conference of

the International Society for Human Ethology. They have been helpful to me for many

    years.
