Tammy has been absolutely
fantastic over the years. I am glad she is ok now. A card is on its way.
Hello
Folks,
I'm taking the liberty of posting this here so it gets the attention it deserves.
Some of you may
already know this but undoubtedly the most crucial person in the Love Scent operation is Tammy Smith. She has been
chief of warehouse operations for nearly 10 years now and is the one to thank for all the orders getting shipped
every day. I could fill pages with all the behind the scenes duties she has been fulfilling all these years, but
I'll get to the point. Tammy was recently diagnosed with a life-threatening disease and rushed into major surgery
in an effort to save her life. She made it thru OK and is recuperating at home.
What I am asking is if any of
you have found the Love Scent customer service reliable, could I talk you into dropping her a "get well" card?

That would be awesome. Many many thanks. And
in the event you had a bad experience with an order, send a note to me at that address or email "bboyd" (at)
love-scent(dot)com and I'll mail her one for you.
Thanks for reading,
Bruce

Will do Bruce. Tammy was
awesome in handling an ordering quirk I had a while back, and she's been just great with forum issues as well. It
takes a talented person like her behind the scenes to make this great L-S operation work smoothly.
Godspeed
Tammy, best wishes for a fast recovery.
Tammy replied VERY quickly
to a site concern i had. all the VERY best to her.
Don't think I ever had reason to
contact her, but I have a card right here that will soon be on it's way.
The opposite of love isn't hate.
It's apathy.
My card for Tammy is on the way, i have sent it via a friendly kangaroo
with the object of having her bouncing around as fine and fit as she can ever be....
I AM. Out of my mind .... .... ....
Diplomatic pouch... great idea.
<Groan>.... ouch ouch ouch....
I heard once that way back
when, when Europeans (probably British) first set their eyes on the Austrailian plains, they asked the local natives
what that strange hopping animal was. Natives replied "kangaroo." So that's how it got it's name. However it's
was claimed by some later expert that "kangaroo" actually means "I don't know" in native Austrailian...

Folks,
Tammy was doing pretty
well there for a while, but came down with pneumonia yesterday and is back in the hospital.
Keep the cards
coming.
Thanks,
Bruce

I will DEF send out a get
well card. She is SUCH a sweetheart. My thoughts and prayers go out to her for a speedy recovery, as well as to her
fam!!!
I've heard that story as well. It sounds just like how things happen in this
crazy world ! Just like wars starting for little reason - & ending with everybody worse off but back where they
started & having to rebuild - from scratch like Germany after WW2. (Penicillin spores flew in an open window in
London & landed on a petri dish 'inventing' antibiotics !)
Speaking as British we are quite proud that the
U.S.A. developed into the country it is - from the humble origins of the original British settlers at Jamestown,
Virginia (who brought everything over from England - combs, saws, pins, etc. without knowing what to expect) & then
many immigrants from other European countries. I watched an interesting TV programme on the Jamestown settlers -
they analysed the bones from the graveyard & were able to put names to the bodies (& places of birth in England)
from wounds to bones, etc.
Sorry to hear about Tammy - it sounds like her immune system has taken a battering.
