One problem is that each phero
product, individual pheromones or mixes, contain different proportions and concentrations of pheromones, and those
mixes and "dosages" can make a big difference.
Many manufacturers keep the exact pheromone content and strength
as trade secrets, plus there seems to be a whole mess of "putative" (possible - but not proven) pheromones out there
that can find their way into a product as well, eg "secret ingredients."
If you want to concentrate on specific
pheromones then you would be dealing with those who like to do custom mixes using "chemset" (individual) pheromones.
You'd need to know the exact concentrations, exact sources (brands/labs/counrty of origin) and possibly batch
numbers, as there could be some variability during manufacture.
