Hey! The great oSensei
Morihei Ueshiba!
Bruce... Do you practice Aikido too??
True Budo is practiced not to
destroy an enemy, it must make him, or his own will, gladly lose his spirit (seishin) to oppose you.

To enjoy good health, to bring true happiness to one's family, to bring peace to all, one must first discipline and control one's own mind. If a man can control his mind he can find the way to Enlightenment, and all wisdom and virtue will naturally come to him.

I studied in California for a year,
then moved to Japan where I studied from the crack of dawn in an unheated dojo for 3 hours every day including
weekends for the most part. John Stevens was my sensei and I finally got my nidan and teaching certificate before I
came back. I also studied with the legendary (4 times all-Japan full-contact karate champion) Osada Sensei nights
until I got married, and spent a month studying Muay Thai on an island in South Thailand.
