Don\'t think
so Holmes. The study is pretty famous, it is all over the web. Just search pumpkin pie, lavender, cumcumber, men,
women, study, into google and I bet you will find a lot of references.
Actually, no
smokey smell. I guess it depends on the lavender you use. If I could find a good masciuline smell to do that with
I would do it again.
I like sandalwood, but only diluted, and sandalwood incense (if it is as strong as the EO)
wouldn\'t be good to me.
Elana, maybe you can try and new delivery method for anise application?

Did this study determine whether men and women of
different ethnicities responded differently to the same scents--or if they preferred others?
No. I think it was
more limited, than that. I don\'t even know whether a mixed-ethnicity group participated. I wish to hell I could
rememeber whi ocnducted the study, and the specific meth.

Most cinnamon bun scents smell sweet enough to turn my stomach. And
they\'re very heavy. Do you like most cinnamon bun scents, or is this one better than most?
I can\'t stand
the sugar cookie ones either.

I have some pumpkin pie fragrance oil that I got from eBay.
My
order came today. The pumpkin pie oil smells yummy! Very cinnamony.
I may end up adding a drop of lavender with it or maybe a drop
of vanilla to see how the sent changes.
Ok, just added a little lavender on top, and it smells really good.
It doesn\'t smell like food anymore. Just really good.
hmmmm.....mmmm...
What do you like better with or without
lavender?
Yes..the one
from CG is very cinnamony. SRH...that is how the CG cinnamon smells. I was also planning on adding some vanilla lace
to the mix. I think I will diffuse it during thanksgiving.
That\'s a MUCH better cinnamon than AC\'s!
I bet your house will smell delicious.

Well did anyone
utilize their pumpkin pie fragrance on thanksgiving?
How did it go?
Anbody smell a pumpkin pie cooking in the
oven? mmm
I used mine.
I don\'t really care for it. I used it in my nebulizer so my whole house smelled like it. I just don\'t find it
the least bit of a turn on. It\'s just OK IMHO.
LOL. I hope I
didn\'t ruin your thanksgiving

I wouldn\'t
expect it to be a turn on for women. You have seen the studies, it is a turn on for men.

Is it Franki?
I didn\'t see that.
According to
Dr. Hirsch\'s research, baked cinnamon buns had more effect on male arousal than all perfume scents combined.
Surprisingly, the combination of the scent of pumpkin pie and lavender also boosted penile blood flow significantly.
The runner-up was the scent of doughnuts and black licorice combined, followed by the aroma of pumpkin pie coupled
with the smell of doughnuts. Men also responded strongly to the smells of cheese pizza and buttered popcorn. Older
men liked vanilla while men who had frequent sexual intercourse responded strongly to the scent of
strawberries.
What scents did woman respond to? The licorice candy Good & Plenty combined with cucumber
appeared to increase vaginal blood flow the most. Runner-up to those smells were the scents of Good & Plenty
combined with banana nut bread. The smells that turned woman off were things associated with male smells, men\'s
cologne and the scent of barbecued meat.
Pumpkin pie and licorice are not smells normally associated with sexual
arousal, however, Dr. Hirsch suggests that these odours may trigger a sense of comfort and reduce anxiety thereby
altering one\'s mood.

I hadn\'t
seen that. Pretty similar, huh? I wonder if they jsut stuck 8 scents in front of them, and asked them what they
liked.
I wore the
pumpkin pie oil to work last Sunday, we had our Thanksgiving dinner. I also wore my work mix of PI/w & \'nol.
No one mentioned anything about how I smelled or anything. Also, the dinner was about 7 hours after I\'d applied
it & I couldn\'t smell it either. So, either I applied it too early and it wore off or it wasn\'t the big
turn on its supposed to be. Randa
I\'ve worn
alot of the popular fragrances, and 99 percent of the time, no one says anything, so I wouldn\'t take that as an
indication. best bet is just to ask men what they think. Not a lot of guys have posted on this thread saying it is
a turn on for them, so maybe its not.
I don\'t know. Wearing cucumber, jasmine and lavender serpeately a
couple of years ago didn\'t do s-it as far as women taking notice.
bjf,
I\'ve worn a licorice (anise) scent which has garnered consistent (female) approval/compliments.
Unfortunately, the scent starts grating on me after a bit.
Holmes
Cool holmes.
Yea, I myself don\'t really like the smell of licorice. And good and plenty\'s are horrible. But women
definitely like it. I\'m with you, though, I can\'t really wear something though if I don\'t.

It didn\'t ruin
anything. It smelled nice, but just nothing exciting.
Studies have shown that pumpkin pie is a turn on for both
men and women. I just don\'t see why.
Anise is another story. There is something sexy about the smell of my
licorice scented panties.

Thanksgiving could be kind of a bust, anyway, because of the
soporifics in turkey. That\'s why people fall asleep, after dinner.

ouzo, on which I once got VERY drunk and THOROUGHLY sick.
