I\'ve always wanted a different name. \"Kari\" means \"pure.\" Depressing. When I was a dancer, I was stage-named \"Anbreen,\" wich means, \"scemted.\" I guess that\'s appropriate for this n/g. <g>

One of the ladies asked her musicians to name her. They chose \"Khara,\" and she used it for years. Guess she didn\'t know that it means \"[censored]\" in Arabic. which was unfortunate, since she was a bellydancer. <g>

Revlon once had a perfume with that name, as well. Can\'t you see some wise-ass in the board room, handed a sample, saying-- \"I have the perfect name for this! It smells like khara!\"

There are SOOOOO many choices (I\'m weeding out the unappealing-sounding ones) that we need a starting point-- ethnicity and personal qualities, for starters. Then, we can come up with options and \"course correct\" from there.

Think of your name as if it was mones. What do you want people to think, when they hear it?

BTW-- I have a friend from Edinburgh (I can even pronounce \"Edinburgh\" correctly). Robin Williamson. He\'s an entertainer.

Rupert? An awkward form of Robert. I used to think \"Chaz\" (for \"Charles\") was cool. But, now I think it sounds like a name for a lounge lizard, a yuppie, or a cheap perfume.

Taliesin means \"shining brow.\" People who are into celtic mythology find that name attractive. It\'s thought to be bardic and romantic.

It means \"panther,\" so it implies strength, grace, speed, and deadliness.

But, it\'s ugly. DAMN! We want a sexy or powerful sound, and an inspiring meaning.
