Your notion of anchoring reminds me of an

experience I had. I had been madly in love with a woman but we broke up under unfortunate and emotionally trying

    conditions. She always wore \"Allure.\"

I happened to buy my next girlfriend some Allure some months later.

When she first put it own and I smelled it on her, I literally swooned. I was weak in the knees and overcome with

longing for my old girlfriend. My new girlfriend noticed my reaction and asked what happened. I, like a fool, told

    her.

Suddenly, I was out TWO girlfriends. The emotional links with smell are incredibly strong and can be

overpowering. I bet I\'d be susceptable to that scent today, years later.

The take-home advice I\'d give is

to be consistent with your aroma with a new girlfriend. That way you build an association. Later when she\'s

getting boring, give her some new scent and start wearing something new yourself. That could re-invigorate a

    relationship.

    <hr /></blockquote><font class=\"post\">

Mmmmm-- \"Allure\" is my main scent. I\'ll try

    to remember not to wear it around you. &lt;g&gt;

    That would

be very considerate of you, Ms. Kari.

    Do you have brunette hair?

    Whitehall,

wow what a terrible yet interesting experience. Thank you for sharing!

The idea of re-invigorating a relationship

with a new scent may work, but it may backfire. My ex gf just recently told me she that would never have started a

relationship with me if I had been wearing all those new scents (which I wear now) at that time. She told me that

the scent I was wearing when we started dating, played an important role for her. That was 6 years ago -- I was

    wearing a cheap deo!

    I

suspect your ex doesn\'t know what really attracts or repels her.

    That may well

    be true

She just has this strong association with me and that

old scent. Those new scents are not \'me\' for her.

    Nope. Red hair, blue-grey

    eyes, fair skin, 120#, 5\'7\".

Does that mean I CAN wear my \"Allure?\"

    Ms.

    Kari,

As to your question, perhaps you should send me a private message so we can discuss this in greater depth

    without compromising our privacy.

    Whitehall

    is on the money.

I posted some time ago about a similar experience, but it was my scent affecting a girl, in fact

    I think it was APC.

p.s I dont think APC\'s -none had much to do with it.

    The most highly recommended site

And I\'ve found many wonderful fragrance/perfume oils by Madini at the Talisman site.

well, you can't really go by

what one person recommends. what you need to do is go to a store, spray a couple you like. walk around for about

15 mins, then smell it. that way something that smells good in the bottle doesn't smell like a cat pissed on you

    after a few mins
