I\'m thinking about getting a book that is sort of like dating 101. I was just wondering if anyone here has purchased a dating book before and if so, which one and what did you think of it? Thanks.....

Get on Kazaa and download Double Your Dating, by David DeAngelo. The book is like $40, but you can get it off there. I\'ve been using his techniques for a while now with GREAT results.

Also, check out http://www.pickupguide.com

lots of good pdf books on kazaa and the likes of, I got a an odd book about sending beta brain waves and making women secretly want you some far off [bad word] that I am not sure if I believe. If anyone wants to check it out its called \"Body Language Psychic Seduction\" I believe it is on kazaa.

Just out of curiousity, what do you think of titles such as
\"Idiot\'s Guide To Dating\" or \"Dating for Dummies\"? Seriously though, when it comes to dating, I\'m a complete idiot. lol.

Why is it so many people see no problem with stealing from someone. Would you have a problem walking up to them, slamming them across the face with a .44 cal. and taking the money out of their wallet?

David DeAngelo makes his living SELLING the book, so you are stealing from him.

No\"

So it would be OK for someone to do it to you?
(and no you can\'t modify it by saying you can defend yourself-in this scenario, they can do it to you without a doubt.)

\"I would never write a book in the first place\"

I\'ll go slowly. It\'s not about writing a book, it\'s about STEALING someone\'s livelyhood. The cost of a book, or the money you made working as a fry cook at Burger King, it doesn\'t matter. This is a question of ethics (you can look up the meaning in a dictionary)and in this matter, stealing a paper clip is the same as stealing all of the gold in Fort Knox. Being a thief is like being pregnent, either you are or you aren\'t there is no in between.

WHY IS THIS QUESTION EVEN IN THE PHEROMONE FORUM?

I swear, this thing is totally getting bogged down by senseless discussions and repeated questions over and over... That\'s why we have other discussion boards, the search function and archives. I think a friend of mine (name kept secret to protect the innocent) said it best when they said: it\'s all gone the way of newbies asking for help, then posting replies 3 days later to other newbies.

I miss the old pros like Dr. Smellthis. He doesn\'t even come around very often, it\'s so ridiculous now...

Whew! Blowing off steam is fun! Okay, I\'m done.

No harm intended just trying to steer things back on track.

Hey Whiffy, take a Whiffy of this !, Just Kidding. I\'m with you a 100% this has been discussed many times before. I usually download mp3\'s from kazaa ect.., and then I buy the albums which I really like. If that \"Double Your Dating, by David DeAngelo\" BS really sucks, you would of been really happy that you have\'nt wasted your money on the crap. But if you did you can always buy the book for greater convenience. I\'ve downloaded and read dating books off kazaa ect.. they were all bullsh/t, I figured out that I get laid 100000000000000000% more using my methods and natural game, all those stupid techniques just made me look like an ass.

Dating for Dummies is good, I highly recommend it. It will save you grief.

The other stuff ... you have to pick what style you feel most comfortable with and go with it ... read through what you can get for free and whichever one feels good to you is probably closest to your natural style so you can work off of that.

Dating for Dummies is quick and easy but it hits the nail on the head on critical common points of misunderstanding between men and women.

As an aside - it\'s been spoken of in this thread and that about the allure of the married man. One thing the married man has in his favor is that he knows (really really knows) at least one woman, so a woman can feel a little more relaxed around a married man.

Dating for Dummies helps you get past any really stupid mistakes you might have otherwise made, and the other stuff at least gives you some rap and a perspective to start with -- so you come off looking like/having the vibe of a guy who\'s user friendly.

**ahem, read the stuff you can LEGALLY get for free, I meant to say, of course.

Sorry, I\'m 19..and no, I don\'t think anyone owes me anything. I don\'t know why I\'m even responding to this, but I might as well since you seem to feel the need to jump on me.

David DeAngelo is the author of MANY books. His most famous being Double Your Dating. I came along to his site a while back, and saw the information he had posted. Curious, I went to Kazaa and d/led it. I do the same for CD\'s I\'m considering buying, which I have no problem doing afterwards...but I don\'t feel like wasting $15 on a CD that has one good song on it and that\'s it. If I feel the artist is good, I will purchase their product...same thing with Mr. DeAngelo. \"DYD\" is probably his most popular book, but it\'s not his only one. He has MANY buyers for this book, and has his own newletter that I am also a part of. After reading this book, which I downloaded from Kazaa, I did purchase products from him. I purchased 2 of his other books, as his full price, and contributed to his wealth b/c I believe what he wrote very informational and I have been using it since. I feel that he is a good author, and that I have no problem paying him for his thoughts and products. If the first book had been BS, and I had paid $40 for it, then I would have probably been upset..but instead, I wasn\'t. I feel other people should do the same thing.

And to address your question about stealing. I have warez, pirated software, have looked over hacked pornographic accounts, have many CD\'s that I have burned from downloaded songs from Kazaa, along with much more that I have gotten not so legally. Do I feel bad about it? Not really. Should I? Probably. These artists and companies producing the games and software I have downloaded have more money then I could ever dream of owning (Situations arise, yes..I know.. Local artists that don\'t have much money and haven\'t hit it big...they\'re a different story b/c I will purchase one of their cd\'s whether I know it\'s going to be good or not, b/c I support local stuff)..and the same situation arises as far as gameplay, etc. Microsoft, Blizzard Games, Interplay, and numerous other companies that I have software from are corporations that are not going to go anywhere for a long time. B/c I download Windows XP instead of purchasing it...doesn\'t make me feel bad, and it\'s not going to put them out of business.

Just b/c you believe one thing, I would appreciate it if you would not try to push your beliefs and vent on me about it. If I thought it was wrong, and felt bad about it, then I wouldn\'t do it..simple as that. Your analogy is a little far fetched in situations like this, but I guess it may be valid in your eyes..and my answer to it is NO.

Thank you, good night.

For the record, and pelotudo you know I\'m cool, I said nothing about age. Hell, I love younger women... Alls I commented on was newbies dispensing all-too-quick advice and off-topic threads. I like these stories, but damn .. I hate weeding through nonsensical threads like that annoying \"women\" one.

My conscience is clear. Even if I do download all my music online! Hehehe

<hr /></blockquote><font class=\"post\">

I\'m sorry, but I didn\'t know being a certain age determines ethical values when it comes to certain issues.

I guess criticising me on my age, and then taking that even further by somehow trying to coorelate it with my ethics is a lot easier then actually trying to have an intelligent conversation about this and explain to me your side of the discussion in regards to the points I made above. I believe certain things b/c I have my own belief system, not b/c I\'m 19 or \"immature\" which is what you insenuating. Instead of just criticising me, why don\'t you explain to me your side and maybe we can come to a mutual consensus..instead of tossing age/ethical insults towards each other until it gets to the point that others on this board see both of us in a different light and wont want to deal with us. Just b/c I am a certain age doesn\'t mean you have the right to stereotype me as one some immature or ignorant kid who doesn\'t care or think about what he does. But just throwing me in that category certantly doesn\'t make me want to do anything other than just that...

Or...just continue to throw out insults about my age and values... Either way is fine with me.

I\'m sorry you misunderstood--8 or 80 age doesn\'t matter when you take something that isn\'t yours and you aren\'t entitled to is theft. If I\'m wrong, let me know and I\'ll inform the people at Webster\'s

I\'d just let this one go. It\'s a pheromone forum; not a cyber ethics board.

To each his own... I\'m gonna continue to do what i want, as most people should. Just don\'t hurt anyone and we\'re all cool.

Yeah, yeah .. now someone\'s gonna go off on \"stealing hurts people...\" And I agree. But that\'s your opinion, enjoy it.

I respect you and your ideas. You have contributed some great ideas when it comes to pheromones. But scroll back and read what I wrote. What forum are we in? If I wanted to read about dating, I\'d surf over to www.sosuave.com or something along those lines.

Tell me why the majority of us wear pheromones? To enhance our social life, which includes dating. I put it this way, the better your own dating/social skills are, the better your pheromones will be able to enhance you in the eyes of the opposite sex. So dating and pheromones are indeed related.

Related? Sometimes. Sometimes I wear mones so I can deal with my [bad word] boss, sometimes I just wanna piss off guys around me when I feel like being aggressive. Sometimes I just wanna make myself feel better (Realm, anyone?).

I agree, I love reading (well, at least I used to) about dating tricks/tips. Hell, I\'d by lying if I said I didn\'t learn a thing or two. But that has it\'s OWN place. Unless I\'m wrong, then ... well, I\'m wrong. But I think sometimes you gotta respect the rules. And the idea behind the pheromone forum was pheromone use and information.
