Shouldn\'t the millipede/centipede thing be reversed?

No, it\'s correct as written.
Milli=0.001
Centi=0.01

so 10 x 0.001= 0.01

Yes, but with bugs, we\'re operating on the other side of the decimal point, aren\'t we?

Centipede = 100 legs
Millipede = 1,000 legs

10 Centipedes = 1 Millipede

I mean, being as bugs don\'t have 1/100th of a leg, or 1/1,000th of a leg, don\'t we have to operate to the left of the decimal point?

<Centipede = 100 legs
Millipede = 1,000 legs

10 Centipedes = 1 Millipede>

There are math problems everywhere I go.
