Man using hypnotic techniques is CREEPY

Did any of you guys happen to catch the Fox show last night called Mr. Personality? One of the men is a motivational speaker. He is attempting to use those techniques that some of you talk about all of the time. He even does that thing were he says a key word and points to himself. Anyhow....he came off as a big time goof. Read the message board from people who have watched this show and see what they have to say about him. He is the motivational speaker and he is number 17.

Had he not done any of that goofy crap, he would have come off as a pretty cool guy. He seemed pretty confident and was well spoken.

I\'ve been a trainer for some time (buisness stuff and motivation) but I\'d never ever use any techniques on a girl (except a little mirroring and interpreting body language maybe), because it\'s simply unfair if done right. There will be absolutely no real connection and sooner or later the whole thing will implode.

I love your comments about the \"motivational speaker\" Chris. Believe or not I think he lives in California and studied under Tony Robbins. I have to wait to hear the last name to prove if I am right or wrong. What I can say, is that he looks great in person, dresses very well, and certainly has a way with words... that does not make it right though.... not sure what I think about him....

By the way if he was a student of Tony Robbins, from what I understand he\'s not a sleazeball compared to Bishop &amp; Ross Jeffries. I\'m reading a book by him called Unlimited Power &amp; I\'ve read nothing similar to the RJ or Bishop technique, although I might have gotten his PG material - it\'s more geared towards reprogramming your OWN mind to succeed &amp; finding the keys to wealth &amp; happiness much more business related, I haven\'t found any seduction chapters in it. I wish I had seen the episode, I bet he didn\'t use any weasle phrases or patterns, just simple stuff like pointing to himself when he\'s talking. If he really did say \"17\" under his breath that would have been funny, I don\'t think that would have done anything for him. What better testing ground then on a national TV show when you get to wear a maks over your face &amp; you only have a few minutes to make an impression. Was the chick intelligent or did she seem like an airhead?

I saw the show also and when he was trying all those techniques I was thinking of some the guys on this board trying all the hypnosis stuff on women. Apparently something happened, she did say \"I kept hearing No. 17 in my head.\"(the number on the motivational speakers mask). He said he was taking her to another place where she felt good. I\'m thinking she could be weak minded, I\'ll have to see the next episode just to see the motivational speaker do his thing. It was fascinating to watch. The only reason people think he\'s creepy is because he keeps telling the viewing audience that he\'s using NLP techniques to manipulate her. Because of this, the audience thinks of him as a creep who\'s trying to hypnotize his way into Hayley\'s heart.
