What reasoning might an attractive and successful man have for wanting to be jealous of his trustworthy S/O for no good reason? Does being jealous stir up some male quality that a woman doesn\'t possess, or is he just twisted?

he feels like that woman is the most wonderful thing that exists, he also feels every other man out there wants to steal her from him for those same reasons and will try to, then if she does anything that seems outta place( hides things-tells 1/2 truths in any ways) it can compound the problem quickly.
no matter how secure and confident a man is in dealing with work, other men, when it comes to women they get confused and insecure because they don\'t understand them.

But, if he knows that she goes to great lengths to avoid having anyone notice her...since she wants him to feel like he\'s the only one - wouldn\'t he give her a break?

lucky, just love him the way he is and try to be understanding of him, mayb some day he\'ll see what a fool he\'s been the way i did, though it took my woman leaving me to wake me up to what i was losing. just don\'t let it get to you and understand it\'s not you, but his own insecurities that cause it and hang in there with him. when or if he says something to you just smile at him, put your arms around him letting him know how you feel about him. Maybe some day he\'ll understand.

There\'s nothing you can do about it, unfortunately. Was he f*cked over bad? or is this just his temperament.

It\'s his temperament. He has to be the one doing the f*cking over, and the one getting his way all the time. He is the complete BRAT.

Do I sound as mad as I am?

He ever hit you? or, like, back you up against the wall and pound the wall around your face, stuff to scare you?

No, he\'s not mean at all. Just a baby, everything is all about what he wants and how it fits into his life. Everything being sex and emotions, primarily.

Sounds to me like he\'s got a \"Double i\" problem: Insecurity and Immaturity~

Jealousy is so senseless... not to mention counter-productive~
