yes
yes
Certainly sounds reasonable to me~
That sounds very cool!!!!!
YES YES YES.
One thing that bothers me is sometimes you look at the subject heading and aren\'t too sure wether it\'s serious or a Joke.
i.e. The \"Columbia Crashes\" . I hadn\'t heard the news yet and thought it was going to be a joke about Columbias economy or something.
Sounds ok to me too.
How about a seperate section for \"serious\" and \"heavy\" essays?
How about a \"Hall of Fame\" section?
Bruce this is developing to be a hell of a forum !!
I would also like to change the name \"Off Topic\" to something with less of a negative conotation, and move it with \"Humor\" up the totem pole a little. Any suggestions?
EG:
\"None of the Above\"
or
\"Free Area\"
or
\"Open Discussion\"
or
???
Bruce
\"Open Discussion\" maybe.
Sorry, but those other two seem too corny.
Open Topic??? dunno.
To be honest, I didn\'t find \"Off Topic\" to be a negative sounding title.
How about :
SPILL YOUR GUTS OUT.
or
SUGAR AND SPICE
or
LAUGH IT OUT A BIT
\"Off Topic\" didn\'t seem negative to me... but if it\'s to be changed, I think \"None of the Above\" would be completely appropriate, and accurately descriptive.
A separate section on \"jokes\" would be a good idea, unless the joke thing is a brief fad.
nooo please don\'t you\'ll have a lot of lil\' sections where nothing\'s going on. keep it simple ... man! I think the forums just fine that way
I agree that a lot of inactive forum sections are not going to help. But when a major area of activity like humor is hiding in a section by another name (ie: Off Topic), I think it is wise to give it its own section.
Bruce
Great idea.
How about a \"Piss & Moan\" section where people can take their \"flame wars\" and insults??
