Watcher, your follow-up post may be worse than the original. You make the mistake of stating your opinions as facts, because of the way things *seem* to you. You apparently believe that any conclusion you reach is the right conclusion, and you don\'t even appear to recognize the POSSIBILITY that there are things of which you are unaware, or have failed to consider.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
there are men out there who get so pissed off with women giving them the slip not responding that they just go ahead and express their libido.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Really? I doubt it. Who are these men? Do you know these men? As I and others have already mentioned, rape isn\'t about sexual desire. You need to accept that.

church isnt exactly perfect either (usually in the past has attracted men who like to have sex with children and get away with it because of the secretive nature of the catholic church

I doubt that the Catholic Church attracts men for that reason. Get real. You don\'t have to be Priest to be a pedophile. It takes a lot of work to be a Priest. There are much easier occupations to be in if you want access to kids. The ideal job for a pedophile would probably be more on the order of a little leage baseball coach -- a lot less dedication and no vow of poverty required.
It *seems* (hint, hint) to me, and I recognize that this is only my *opinion* (hint, hint), that the Church\'s insistence on celibacy for Priests is the biggest factor leading to sexual problems among their clergy. But I\'m willing to have someone more knowledgeable enlighten me further (hint, hint). By the way, I am not now, nor have I ever been Catholic.
One last thing. I believe it\'s also well-established that the majority of pedophiles were themselves sexually abused as children. It\'s not a freedom-of-choice, sexual-desire thing for most, from what I understand. But I may be wrong (hint, hint).
