I smelled that one the other day too....I\'ll stick to No5.

I went on my cologne smelling expedition as promised in the men\'s cologne thread (I know, get a life! who goes on cologne smelling expeditions) and my pick for men is Dolce and Gabbana. I thought that was great. Not for everyone probably, but I liked it. Our mall has a Sephora store that has every cologne you can think of. They even had Kenzo.

Kenzo for men is really great !
There is a new product by Kenzo, called Kenzo Ki - it\'s not an eau de toilette, just 4 different natural perfumes (lotus, ginger, rice water and bamboo), in differents types (stick, water, cream). I use ginger. It\'s really very nice, makes you feel well, very subtle.

I like D & G myself, but it doesn\'t last on my skin. An hour later, it\'s dried down past interesting. Refreshing, eventually the tobacco scent builds up to the point where I smell like a cigar store. Seems like it needs stronger base and middle notes. And less tobacco.

If you have someone who is wearing the stuff, I\'d be curious of what you think of the drydown.

I love no womens scent more than chanel coco madamoiselle. It\'s feminine, yet conservative.

Ladies, try Pi by Givenchy for your men...... yummmmm, it\'s really nice.

I use D and G. I quite like it, but I agree it does lack staying power to some extent. However, it doesn\'t disappear altogether. I am always left with some sort of powdery scent. I like the dryness. Many fragrances are too heavy and sweet, which makes me ill, and I notice bad reactions from others as well. Obsession for men for example. It makes people ill if I get on the train with that on.

We had a discussion some time ago on how colognes differ depending on skin type. I\'m going to guess that you are fair-skinned, northern euro type?

I say that becuase I\'m an dark-olive-skinned mediteranean (italian/hungarian) and I _love_ obscession

Wow, good guess. I\'m big, white, blonde haired, blue eyes.
I think I remember the cologne discussion once upon a time, and the conclusion was that heavier and sweeter was more suitable for darker skin toned people.

Hi.Try mixing your pheromones with L\'Air du Temps.It\'s a great cover scent.I\'ve had good luck with it.Try getting the kind in the bottle w/o the spray.You\'ll have to look a around a bit for it.It works well with AFA and PA and The Edge.

Pi is definitely good stuff.. If you enjoy Pi, try out Hanae Mori, A*Men, Rochas Man, and perhaps even Yohji Homme. All are similarly sweet, gormand orientals. Allure is a close, but not-quite match.

Well the Favorite Cologne, is Liz Clayborne Original, I love the scent and wearing it, it really doesn\'t loose it scent, it really depends on body pores, because your body has a scent of it\'s own, and the mixture of it would determine the scent or aromah!!!!!!!!!
