    Default Earthquake in Japan

    Some of you oldsters

    may remember that I lived with my family in Japan when Love Scent was first born. The name of the city is/was

    Sendai, the closest metropolitan area to the center of the recent earthquake. It was quite a shock seeing arial

    footage of waves sweeping over the airport this morning.

    I am on another forum that deals

    with things Japanese/Asian and the members are certainly following this closely. Those tsunami videos are really

    something.

    Thankfully Japan has an excellent early warning system, and solid plans to deal with both earthquakes

    and tsunamis. Those nuke plant problems are worrysome though.

    Of course it's also good to hear that the

    dingbats in Washington DC have recently voted to defund the tsunami early warning system in Hawaii...
