I'm new here and just curious what would be a good mix using Brute aftershave or cologne and
NPA? I was thinking mixing some up in a separate bottle perhaps using 5ml of Brute and 1ml of NPA, or perhaps going
up to 7ml for the Brute.

Well, you've got the right ideas,
but you really use Brute??
I mean, I used it in the '70's!

I AM. Out of my mind .... .... ....
On the day i wore a liberal
amount of Brut aftershave because my Sheela likes it, i was wearing it with Alpha 7 and Scent of Eros and after the
first few hours of my application it started to attract Asian girls like crazy, earlier on Sheela said that i was
smelling very sexy.......

See how the NPA : Brut 1:7 works in social testingOriginally Posted by Thomas

and if it needs a little hotting up then just add around another 1/2 mL of NPA. and this will take it up to around
1:4.7 NPA:Brut. where as if you were to add 2 dr NPA you would have a ratio of 1:3.5 which may be excessive when
regarding what is recommended ie 1:5 .

Brut is a classic "fougere"
scent, and is really quite nice. The only problem is, as Jim said, is its dated quality. If you're younger than
35 or so you should not have this problem. A guy 45 or more should probably stay away from it, unless you're going
to a Class of '75 reunion and want to score that hot cheerleader who used to wear hot pants to chem class, and is
now a chirpy real estate broker looking for a good time. If you don't know what hot pants are... never mind.
I
would go for the weaker mix, if you find its not getting the proper results you just give an extra spray. Don't
worry about the lingering -Mone scent, you'll always have that if you have a sensitive nose.
