    I know a number of people who use

    Limewire, but make sure your anti-virus softare is up to date, and scan everything it downloads. One guy ended up

    with something called play[1].exe that he wisely refused to run till scanned and sure enough it was a

    trojan.

    with tons of mp3 files of popular groups but I am not sure if it is legal to give links according your laws.

    If I recall Limewire gives you some

    sort of licensing warning if it's questionable, and of course you are "supposed" to pay any associated fees (honor

    system).

    Personally I only rip music off of CD's I have actually bought. And you can often get legit CD's

    cheap off eBay and the like. I suspect someone buys it, copies it, then sells it, so the legallity may still be in

    question unless you keep the CD yourself.

    Amazon's MP3 store. $.89 cents a

    song, mp3 formatted, no DRM, and (just recently) all 5 major labels. If your device can play an MP3 you can put

    Amazon songs on it.

    VERY happy with my purchases so far from there.
