order - customs Q.

hi guys,

i'm in

contact with tammy in cust services re my order. ( sent another email today so looking forward to reply as she's

been very helpful so far).

basically i'm in the UK and placed my order on 3rd sept. to be fair i chose the

cheapest courier but thought it would have arrived by now.
( i have just read in another post that everything gets

shipped within 24hrs. however the 4th was apparently a hol in US according to tammy. but even if it didn't go out

till 5th thats still 2 weeks ... )

i was wondering as i've noticed a few users on here are uk based if any of

you had any issues with customs. ( tammy thinks they might be the reason for my order not turning up yet ).
Maybe

they're after some duty or something ?

I've put in two orders and received one so far. Both times I got an email to let me know they'd been

dispatched. I used first class international and received my first order a week after it was dispatched. There was

no tax or duty to pay so it came to my door.

If your order was worth more than £18/$36, it might be being

held at your local sorting office until you pay VAT and a handling charge. You should have got a card through the

door, but you can try calling and asking if you haven't. Of course, there's a strike right now so that could be

interesting.
