Anyone have any experience with this

freeware forum application? It sounds like it works pretty well, but I wonder how it really stands up next to

vbulletin? I'm going to stick with Vbulletin here, of course, but I am planning on opening another forum for

yoga/meditation/spiritual discussions, and a friend suggested PHPbb.

    Any input

    appreciated.

    Thanks,
    B

Default Re: maybe this link can help out

    Hi

    Bruce,

personally I don't have any experience with phpBB. Maybe the following link helps:

    http://www.dooyoo.co.uk/webdesign/phpbb/1042352/

    It

seems phpBB is a great application but it doesn't really offer more than vBulletin does. Might be easier to stick

with an application you already know.

    Good luck

Thanks. Good info there. I think I

may stick with vB. Like you say, I'm familiar with it.

    Quite easy to adiministrate,

its open source too, so you can make as many changes to it as you want. Haven't had a problem with it yet, lots of

    free plugins.

Good luck on making a choice Bruce
