Default Cover Scents - what do they smell like?

    visit-red-300x50PNG
    Hello,

I have been reading this forum for a year (preferred to sit and watch) and used various mones from love

scent during that time. I have only recently discovered the benefits of the cover scents. The 2 I have used last a

long time and smell good (had good smell comments while also wearing mones). The two I have used are Polo Black and

    J.P. Gaultier.

Can anybody describe the smell of the others (i.e.

masculine/musky/metrosexual/light/young/smooth/similar to other cover scents etc.)? Do they smell similar to the

    originals? They are:

    Dolce&Gabbanna
    Issey Miyake
    Black Code
    Kenneth Cole Black
    Swiss

    Army
    Chrome
    212
    Ralph
    360 Red
    Reaction

Comments from cover scent users and original scent users would be

    much appreciated.

    I am horrible at descibing

smells but I will say that the cover scents smell pretty close to the original colognes if you are able to go to the

store and smell them. The big difference is that they are very oily instead of an alchohol base. I don't know if

this helps but I tried. LOL

    the problem with copycat cover

scents is they do not contain any of the original ingrediants of the original colognes, therefore copy cover scents

dont have a top note or a middle not or base note, they smell similar however the scent disapears almost immediatly

and is replaced with a cheap ethanol scent

    hence the difference in price

    Normally I

would agree with you but recently I orderen myself three coverscents..
And I was really amazed because the Dolce &

Gabbanna really lasts a long time and is a little powerfull as I like..
I just tested it on my wrist but 4 hours

later i could still smell it without having to get my wrist up to my noze.. I was truly amazed but..
    If you buy a

normal prof. scent instead of these cover scents the smell will most likely also change a little over time.. This is

something the producers do because of your smell changes during time, and therefor the smell must change also.. It

aint much but the magic is in there..

    But cvrw6 I ordered
    Dolce & Gabanna
    Polo Black
    Black Code

    Black Code

has a very light smell to it.. Very sweet and to me a little girly.. Not something for me I must admit..
    Then

there's the Polo Black.. A little more powerfull and more masculine in the smell.. But is has a little sweetnes

hidden also, but in this I think it gives a good supplement to the smell..
And at last Dolce & Gabanna.. Very

powerful strong scent wich I like.. I dont like a scent a quickly fades away.. I want one that people can smell, and

also because of if people can smell it and they like it they take an ekstra long sniff and helps with the pheroes I

    believe..
Actually it smells a little like.. You know when you take a stick from the christmas three and put on

fire.. The chrisstmas smell (not the smoke-smell)
is very strong and refreshing.. I think Dolce & Gabanna is the

same type but just with a different scent to it..

Default Cheers - others' responses welcome

Thankyou. I agree with Working Man. The cover scents last a long time (getting up till going to sleep). I have

Polo Black which is very nice -masculine and sweet as you said. May try D&G.

Any other users try the others?

    What do they smell like?

    I have tried D&G which I

like a lot and the izzy which is so/so. Like I said previously I don't explain smell very well but D&G is long

lasting and powerful where izzy is very mild.

You got that right..! It's a strong smell

but not annoying and it's one of those when people walk by you and they have it on, you notice and cant avoid

smelling it, so I think it will be a good cover to get the pheroes with the cover and make people sniff/smell it..

But it's not like those guys that put on 2Liters and stink of their cologne!
    But it's just a nice

powerfull masculine smell that people notice without being in a bad way..
But of course ifyou put half the bottle

on it might not be in the good way anymore they notice it.. hehe
