    Question `mones & the fridge

    visit-red-300x50PNG
    Ok, I

hope this isn't a topic which has been dealt with many times before, `coz on this

    one
I haven't done a search before posting. I admit - it is indeed a sin; but

I've been reading posts here for hours now and I just wanna ask this before I go to sleep

    So I read in the

wonderful cook book that it's best to keep the `mones in the fridge. I intent on building a special wooden box for

    my whole `mone-collection (see my

    Introduction Thread
    for

details), and keeping that box regularly in the bottom shelf of my fridge.

Now the thing is I live in a

regularly-hot country, and I don't want the temperature shock of them being taken out of the fridge daily to cause

any problems. Or... the fridge's coldness either.

It's probably an over cautious question, but it's better to

be safe than sorry in this case

    Thanks ahead.
    And hello everyone

    I noticed a distinct change in a

bottle of arone that I left in the sun in the summer in Japan some years back, but other than that, I haven't

noticed any change in bottles left at room temp for quite a few years. I haven't done any specific testing though.

Others may have noticed some loss of potency from these products. I would keep the tops screwed on and keep the

    bottles out of the sun.

    But is keeping them in

the fridge a bad\not-so-good idea? or is it an ok-to-great idea?

    It doesn't really make any

difference if you do or do not put them in the fridge
To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.

    Hmm... OK then. I'll

take that remark into account. Though I do live in a hot counrty (weather-wise).
I guess I'm going ahead of

myself anyway... I should probably focus on usage rather than on maintainance, for now.

    Thanks for your reply

    though
