first date- good idea? help needed.

its been a little more than 6 months since ive gotten into the pher. scene. and i must say either im

doing something right or..well i must be doing something right. =)

in any case, ive met a great girl

over the pass couple months. we started off as friends and thats what we really are still...kinda.... we met from a

mutual friend and she was just someone cool to hang out with.

up until last week...we really started talking

and got to flirting one night. and i can say that with certainty because we both openly started talking about how we

seem to be talking a little more comfortably and that there seems that there's a connection between us. WHAT A

WEIRD TOPIC OF DISCUSSION is the first thing that came to mind.

she's 23, and im 19. a little odd, and i

thought more of her situation and her friends talking than mine, i guess it's not so socially unheard of on my end,

but i thought she might be a little held back because of it. she said she wasnt and that this probably would've

never happened with anyone else because shes really ...*insert word*...when it comes to age.

two days ago, we

got to talking on the phone and decided that this is something we'd both like to persue, but due both our schedules

and priorities, it isnt going to be anything exclusive - just dating, and thats perfectly fine with the both

of us. still allowing us the freedom and choices if they are to present themself.

which now, leads me to

today. maybe it just because ive been out of this whole dating thing for a little while, but i didnt want to call

the day after, thatd seem a little clingy would it not?

well thats a little background, heres the point of

the post.

a couple of friends of mine are action/stunt people, and have been in some independent films as

martial arts coordinators/actors. they have a sneak preview coming up this thursday for a movie they're going to be

taking out on tour. a group of my friends are going to be attending the screening, and i was just wondering -- my

fellow love-scent members, would it be a good idea to ask her to accompany me to the screening? - with my friends

being there and all those other factors (whatever they might be). btw, most if not all my friends are older than i,

and would be a little closer to her age than mine.

P.S: if anyone can suggest some pher. or combos to wear,

thatd be great as well. i have SOE, AE, NPA, and CHIKARA.

Don't be self-conscious about

the age thing. Act normal. In the grand scheme of things it is nothing of importance. When I was 20 I had a 27 year

old GF and, once under way, she was no different any other GF as to everyday relationship stuff. I can say she

managed to teach me a lot of new strokes and techniques I had never imagined! Now I'm 51 and my last GF was 23 and,

damn, we both got over the age difference quickly and started behaving like normal human beings (fightin', fuckin'

& freakin').

Since you already know her well, I'd recommend a couple stripes of SOE accented with a dab or

two of NPA.
