    Default Custom taxes

    visit-red-300x50PNG
    Hi,

    I just recieved

a letter from FedEx France telling me I have to pay 19.62 Euro for custom taxes for a delivery on 24 march.

    I

know the daclared value of the package was 50USD =~ 38 Euros.

    Does anybody got similar situtations?

    When I

ordered mones for the firs time from another site, they put "Fragrance Samples" description on the package, and I

didnt get any taxes to pay. Could you do the same for your orders. Also you could put a remark like "Gift" and

declare the value not bigger 45euros (I read the laws a little).

Or maybe they check mostly FedEx

    deliveries?

Morover, the Chikara I orderd didnt worked for me, and I planned to return it back and to be

refunded. Now, what should I do to not have to pay double taxes.

I want to place another order and I dont

    know how to procede.

    Thanx

I think it is true they check Fed Ex

more carefully than the post, but the size of the package is probably a determinator as well. Small size packages

by posted rarely get taxed I have heard. If you are sending something back, it might be good to exchange it for

something else, then we can write "gift" or "sample" on the customs label with a clear conscience.
