i mixed APC with PI in a small vial and saw that it seperated into 2 layers... why is this happening? thought 70:30 apc/PI mix was a good ratio and would mix well but for some reason it doesn\'t seem to be happening

To mix oil and water (or water/alcohol in this case), try adding a touch of a surfactant like soap or detergent.

Whitehall\'s right but instead of adding detergent go to an herb store and get some veggie glycerine. (Did I spell that right?) It\'ll act as a carrier and mix that right up or you could do something even simplier and add a little rubbing alcohol.
