We were rafting the white waters
on the Zambezi when I fell in just before a rapid that is affectionately named 'Comercial Suicide'. They never let
greenies run it. In fact, only the guides or profesionals do. I got dragged into it, then sucked under for about 5
or so minutes.
When I managed to surface (something below me just seemed to 'push' me back to the surface, out
of nowhere) I had lost my wristwatch. On telling the story to one of the guide-dudes he gave me the pendant.
