    Gang,

    I'd like to try an

experiment this Friday; an auction. I'll put together a bunch of unusual stuff and auction it off. Like maybe

    this Friday will be:

    1 JV Kohl lecture tape
2 half-full Chikara (leakers we never shipped)
    1

    Pheropen
    1 Alexander Video
    1 Intimate Herbal supplement
1 Nipon Kodo incense (great incense form

    Japan)
    1 knock-off men's cologne

Stuff like that. Sort of a grab bag of stuff we have lying around the

warehouse. Maybe about $150-$200. worth of stuff total; and auction it off. We could leave it up for the weekend

maybe and ship to the highest bidder on Monday morning.

    What do you think?

Sounds fun! The auction will be

through LS's webpage? or the forums? Silent?

What is the method of auction

bruce - you would need an automatic auction software is that doable with hte LS software. Id have a few smaller

packages in individual auctions so those that miss out on a big one can go for the smaller ones.

    Heck if its

stuff you cant sell why not.

I was just going to run it on the

forum; maybe start a new forum section, so it didn't get lost. Then give each new "item" for auction its own

thread. You could only post to the thread if you wanted to post a bid. I could make the "Auction" forum read-only

except for forum members who registered as "bidders" with me by email, so I would know who they really were, mailing

    address etc. Something like that.

For "additional fun" we could occassionally have a real grab bag,

meaning you wouldn't know what was in there exactly. Something like:
10 returned items; all half full or

better; all in the top 10 best sellers; Total value of all 10 items new equals $375. Something like

    that.

Wow this is an exciting idea, I've

been waiting for some used items to come up, and the auctions make it sound even better!

I'd prefer the returned items be

sold individually at the returned products page (when that gets up and running). It takes so long to use up one

item, let alone a number of them.

Would this be in addition to,

or in place of, a Friday special?

It would be in addition to the TGIF

    special.

    Don't know that I need 10 new

items all at the same time. You get a grab-bag of 5, and I'm in.

Go take a look at the auction forum.
