    Default Seal Bounce/Tactics/How to score?

    visit-red-300x50PNG
I have some questions about this game, mainly for the top scoring folks.

Does the amount of times the Yeti

slings the penguin around before throwing, or his position on the raft (the raft tilts back and forth) have any

affect on how high he can throw?

I can only average around 250-300 on the height of my typical throw. But,

every once in a while I get a good high (over 300 or over 400, almost hit 500 once) throw, sometimes two per round.

Is this what the high scorers are doing, or do they get good throws every time? IE, do you score 250, 250, 275,

    500, 350? Or 350, 350, 400, 290, 380?

I came here mainly to ask questions

of my own about that same game, but I'll put in my 2 cents worth on your question. I am quite sure it doesn't

matter how many times the arm swings around, but I have a feeling that you want to let go when the iceberg is

rotating the way you would expect would help with speed and up near the top of that cycle. I find the longer I let

it swing around, the more likely I am to throw a blooper.

My question is how high has anyone gone on a single

throw? There are of course little audible encouragements every 50-100 points I think it is. The ones I have

    heard are:
    giggling sound @250 points
    "Yeah!" @300 points
    "Super!" @400 points

    Are there any

other of those sounds? I have gotten "super" quite a few times, but never gotten many more points than that.

Anyone else gotten much beyond 400? I wonder what the highest possible single throw score is.

My high is 489.8. Just had good

momuntum and a great angle. Just bounched all the way up! It took about an hour to get the hang of it. I

experimented with different tecniques. I was in marching band for 5 years so I got the whole on tempo thing down. I

noticed that the rate of the swing varies from pass to pass. Then I noticed the rate changes are in a repeating

pattern. The longer the delay between swings the lower the throw (130-160) The faster the swing is together I get

about 250-275. (no bounces) Just like in reality.

    I noticed i've gotten my

best scores when aiming to the right at about 110 -120 degrees just let it hit the right wall but not too soon and

the jumps come from the rest
