Default To BDC Concepts re Perception

    visit-red-300x50PNG
    Hi

    Matt/Bobby,

Someone (luckyhorse, perhaps) brought up a question about mixing Perception with other products

in another thread, which raised the following question for me. How much fluid/mones can be added to or mixed with

Perception before its time release property is compromised? By that I mean what is the maximum volume of fluid can

the polymers in a full bottle of Perception stabilise?

    Cheers

    I'm not following

your question...are you asking how much water can be added to Perception before it loses its effectiveness (in terms

of stabilizing the pheromones)? Or are you asking how much alcohol (i.e. - most colognes or perfumes) can be mixed

during application before it breaks down the time released nature of the polymer?

I think he means dumping pheromones

    into the perception bottle.

    It should be able to

dissolve at least another 2 mg of pheromones. However, don't dissolve the pheromones in alcohol and add the

mixture to the bottle or it'll reduce / eliminate the effectiveness of the polymer.

    Because alcohol and the polymer

    don't mix...................., right?

So we can only put in pheromones in powder form or water-based

pheromones (which basically would be mixing perception with perception)?

    The alcohol reduces

(even eliminates) the very properties of the polymer that makes it such a great stabilizing agent. I would not

recommend adding liquid alcohol to Perception in ANY amount...even if it is concentrated pheromone.

    It would

be hard to add raw powder pheromone to the bottle since that quantity is so minute. However, I may be able to get

some of the pure polymer matrix to Bruce in small volumes (for those that want to experiment or augment their

    pheromone kit).

Let me know if you're interested...

Actually, I think some might buy the

pure polymer matrix as a "cologne extender."

    Interesting...a

cologne extender? I don't know if I'll put my name on the line and use that as an official product claim but

theoretically should be correct. Of course, this means the cologne would have to go on first then Perception (to

lock it in)...and the extended release may be affected for the mones. It's a trade-off but an interesting one

well, not everyone who would get the

extended release would use it with perception. Say they have a cologne they like which fades - this happens quite a

bit, and someone was recently talking about it with one of their favorites - they just buy the cologne extender,

    and problem solved.

    Thanks guys,

    You both

answered my question. The bottom line, I suppose, is that mixing may not be the best idea with Perception. It's

better to apply products separately. A cologne extender sounds brilliant, btw.
