There are lots of reason for

smelly armpits, most of which are related to lifestyle. Are you putting them in your pits?

    Armpit oder is caused by

bacteria breaking down the apocrine sweat that is secreted by the eccrine glands. Hardly anything that you take into

your body has an effect on armpit smell.

It's not that simple. Do you know that enough toxins are

in a day's worth of sweat for the average person to make a lethal dose of juice? A lot of variables determine the

final smells, including sizable variations in the functioning of various bacteria.

i sweat alot but it seems like i

sweat water. i don't wear deodarant, tried it when i was younger but i live in the northeast and didn't like the

feeling of cold speedstick under my armpit. you might now want to do this, but i heard that shaving or triming your

armpit hair can reduce the surface space for armpit bacteria.

    Pheromones in the arm pits

enhance the odor, some find this a turn on others find it a turn off.

    No, i haven't trimmed my

armpit hairs in a while. I thought more hair is supposed to supress the smell. Maybe i'm wrong. Its just lately

this has been happening. I mean its smells just like the cat pee edge. Its disgusting.. I' apply mones to my

chest, neck and wrists. Its just like no matter what i do now my armpits smell. Never happened in my 21 yrs of

lifetime this bad. I'm embarrased todo anything. Maybe i should shave all of the hair? any suggestions?

    This detox will almost surely

    fix your pit problem:

    1. Fast or eat vegetarian low carb whole foods for a few days --- or even a day, whatever.

Drink lots of water. Don't eat junky (or fermented, ideally) foods. Avoid smoking, bars, and other toxins to the

    extent you can.

    2. Work out followed by a long sauna, at least 30 minutes if you're healthy. Then scrub

(exfoliate) your whole body with a loofah and soap. Use a clean towell to dry and wear clean clothes.

    3.

Abstain from antiperspirant use for now. Use pure sandalwood instead if you can get it.

    4. Take some

liver support herbs containing milk thistle. Do a fiber cleanse for your intestines too if you can.

    If you

can't do all this perfectly, just do as much as you can, but especially #2 and #3. Unless you have other health

issues, your problem should be gone after 2-3 days, and much better immediately after #2.

Could it be -none OD? Did you

notice it after a few days of wearing 'mones, towards the end of the day? That's one possibility. If so, make

sure you take a day or two inbetween w/out using, or if you apply more than once a day, cut down.

    Possibility #2.

Could be that maybe you're nervous, thinking to yourself.. "Hmm.. I wonder if they're noticing the pheromones..

How should I react if I'm approached or get a hit?.. I wonder if I OD'd. I wonder if I stink.." and then towards

the end of the day from being nervous over it.. "Oh man, I do stink" People tend to sweat more and smell when

    they're nervous.

Possibility #3. Have you changed deodorant recently? Some don't work as well as others.

Also, if you've been using the same for too long, maybe it's time to change and/or alternate.

    Best thing to do

to test if it's the pheromone usage is go a few days w/out using mones, change nothing else. If the stink does not

reappear, start using the mones again in same fashion as you did when you noticed the smell and see if it comes

    back. That should tell you..

Sensitivity to -none can be induced

with exposure. Since using pheromones you have most likely become sensitive to -none; though your -none smell was

there all the time. Also, I've had multiple reports that once someone becomes sensitized to -none, they find it

difficult to get the smell "out of their head." Sooner or later, you should become desensitized via habituation --

like when you become used to the odors in your household, but a stranger notices a distinctive odor. With -none, as

I recall, sensitivity has been measured in some cases to be 1 part per billion. A type of mold found on wine corks

is the only substance I've heard about that humans can consciously detect at 1 part per trillion. SoE men contains

    no -none.

    well since i've been using

the edge i've been smelling some strange cat piss smell in my armpits simliar to the one in the edge. Maybe i shud

scrub down with antibacterial soap there or something. I do believe i got sensitive to none because i feel like i'm

whiffing it all day long. Even tho i'm sure its not as bad as i make it believe

Shave both your arm pits and

wash them in vinegar. You have an age old problem called "The Kavorka" or "Lure of the animal." We will help you

get rid of this curse son; so don't worry.

Dr Smell This, how much EO do you

use a day? It seems like it could get very expensive depending on how much you use. Also do you have any good plave

    to get it?

    I don't use straight

essential oils every day, but use mixes of them every day. If I was using sandalwood alone I'd use 1-2 drops per

day, depending on how much I wanted to smell. I'd only need 1 for my whole body, and would use half that drop as

deodorant and the other half as perfume. I like putting it on all my private areas too. You get a nice clean, sexy

    smelling aura around you.

Don’t know how healthy this is, but

I use a crystal stick. It contains mineral salts and ammonium alum. It’s supposed to make the pH of your pits

    unfriendly for bacteria.
Over the summer, I worked out in 90 degree heat, with no air-conditioning, in a

heavy gi (thick, cotton martial art uniform) and didn’t notice any offensive smells coming from my pits.
    Give truth a chance.

I'm not Dr.SmellThis, but I started following the Dr's advice at the start of

summer, started using a drop of sandlewood oil instead of deoderant. I spent $35 for an ounce of 100% pure

sandlewood oil. At 1 drop a day, sometimes 2, 4.5 months later and I've used maybe 20% of the bottle. At this

rate, it will last me over a year and a half. Its a bit cheaper than using commercial deoderant.

Do you buy the oil at a store, or

    do you order it online?

Thank you for your responses on the use of sandalwood.

I got mine at a little health

food store down the street from me. Its made by NOW Foods, same company that makes lots of vitamins and

supplements. When I was buying it, the lady said that the company had rasied the price to $42, but she'd still

    give me the old price.
I was suprised when I first smelled it. Its distilled from the stem, and smells a lot more

woody than any synthetic sandlewood scented thing.

I am quite a greedy little pig and have been buying up

bottles of NOW Sandalwood. It's a well-kept secret...

Try a five percent solution in your favorite perfumer's

alcohol as a base into which to add your fav EOs.
