Default Movies which teach attraction skills

    visit-red-300x50PNG
I know it sounds corny, since Hollywood ALWAYS turns a love story into bigger-than-life nonsense. But if you think

about it, they still have to tell a story that makes sense. Some movies rely heavily on body language and

symmetrical staging. Other movies rely heavily on character.

For example, take any James Bond movie (except

maybe "On Her Majesty's Secret Service"). What is it about Bond that all the girls go for? The man is CONFIDENT

    with a Kapital K.

Another good movie is "The Tuxedo". While this one bombed at the box office, it nonetheless

touches on some of the stuff we talk about here with confidence and ways to approach women (one of the sub-plots

deals with Jackie Chan's character's inability to ask a beautiful woman out for lunch -- he ends up asking

Jennifer Love Hewitt for coffee and he does it in exactly the way that the suave secret agent guy tries to teach him

to do with the other girl).

I am not much of an Adam Sandler fan, but I did enjoy "Fifty First Dates". He does

some outrageous things which would never work in real life, but the point of the movie is that he gets to try over

and over again with the girl of his dreams (Drew Barrymore). It turns out that what works best for him is

confidence and being himself -- but the movie shows that he is a guy who pays close attention to how women react and

    he learns from his mistakes.

I caught part of "Never Been Kissed" (another Drew Barrymore movie) today and

noticed that they were using body language and mirroring. I am becoming more and more convinced that on-screen

chemistry develops best around actors who project the right kind of body language.

Pick a movie where you like

the love story and watch it. Pay close attention to the body language.

Another good movie to watch is "Alien

Versus Predator", believe it or not. The main character ends up having to communicate with a Predator through body

language (and that is all I will say about the movie).

Give it some thought. Hopefully, others here can suggest

some movies which teach basic skills of attraction and non-verbal communication. Probably almost any Sandra Bullock

or Nicole Kidman movie would be a good choice, too.

movie for people who haven't yet seen it.

    Two movies worth noting: Don

Juan DeMarco and Thomas Crown Affair (with Pierce Brosnan). Both are smooth, confident, and cool at the same time.

Both articulate themselves passionately about the traits of the woman they desire, and if you see each movie, you

will gain a great sense of what it means to be confident instead of arrogant, and passionate instead of overly

sensitive. Finally, both movies illustrate that being seductive is not something that is inherent in one's

personality, it can be honed and developed until it is a part of your personality. I wouldn't recommend creating

an alter ego for yourself, but understand that you can transform yourself into a desirable man through skillful

    practice.
Life is all about choices: "To avoid hitting the bumper of the car in front, I struck the pedestrian."

    Groundhog Day was an excellent

movie that also taught attraction skills.

I was just about to say that I've found any

number of Bill Murray's characters/films to be great examples. He tends to carry a bit of his own personality from

role to role and, as a result, his characters always have this air of detachedness--of nonchalance--about them that,

when mixed with a touch of cocky humor, is absolutely magnetic.

    Good call.

    "Sweet Vermouth on the rocks

    with a twist, please."

-You said this is your first time playing?
--Yes, but my father was a piano

    mover, so...

    "I'm a god. I'm not *the* God... I don't think."

    Man in Hallway:

Think it'll be an early spring?
Phil : Winter, slumbering in the open air, wears on its smiling face a

    dream... of spring. Ciao.
    Man in Hallway : Ciao.

    Phil: Can I be serious

with you with you for a minute?
    Rita : I don't know. Can you?

Phil: So, did you sleep OK without me? You tossed and turned, didn't

    you?
    Rita : You're incredible.
    Phil : Who told you?

"You want a prediction about the

weather, you're asking the wrong Phil. I'll give you a winter prediction: It's gonna be cold, it's gonna be

grey, and it's gonna last you for the rest of your life."

    "Blockbuster...Des Moines, Iowa."

    -Did you

take the girl to the bathroom?

--No, she went to the lou, by herself...

    -This is Laurie...She's the

    Defense Minister's call girl...
    --You bastard! *smack*
    -Sorry...I guess I should've called her an

    actress!

    (Over the phone)
-I gotta go do the scene with the girl now.
(On the phone in front of

    guests)
--Yes, do it with the girl and have a wonderful time!

And each Bond shows that confidence in different ways.

It's interesting to see exactly how Connery's interpretation of Bond Coolness differs from Moore's, Dalton's,

Brosnan's, etc, through subtle (and not-so-subtle) variances in body language.

    I'm partial to Moore's 007.

    Smooth like buttah.

Yeah. You spoiled a major part of the movie. If you can still edit

    which part? there's

not much storyline to the movie to begin with it's just a moneymaker for fans of both series...

Well, clearly you don't mind spoiling movies for other people. So, I'm not going to

    dwell on this any longer.

    I like

    spoiling movies for people...

    Titanic - The ship sinks...
Volcano - A volcano erupts and destroys

    LA...
Anything on WWII - The US eventually saves the day...
Any Football Movie - The team of misfits

overcomes its differences to win the big game.
Any Action Movie - One man overcomes incredible odds to

overthrow an evil plot of some sort...usually involving drugs, millions of dollars, world domination, etc. Man can

kill hundreds without getting hurt. A 'nameless thug' will never hurt him, but some of the more familiar thugs

will occasionally get a shot in that will slow him down but not enough to prevent him from returning the favor by

killing named thug and rest of operation.

Man, I just spoiled like 34-48 movies... Sorry!

    Oliver Martinez'

character in Unfaithful is an interesting study.
