    Default body odor

    visit-red-300x50PNG
    I don't normally have bad

body odor, because I workout a lot and don't eat junk food often. On the rare occasions when I do eat certain food

additives such as vinegar however, I notice a pungent odor from my armpit. The sort of strange thing about it is

that most if not all of this nasty odor comes from my left arm pit. Why is that? Even if I wear deorderant, I can

still smell the funk. This is why I avoid vinegar in my food.

    Body odor, especially, underarm

odor, is caused by bacteria that feed off of the sebum that is excreted by sebaceous glands. These glands are more

numerous around hair growth. Obviously since there is more moisture in the arm pits there is a better environment

    for bacteria growth.

The only food I've ever heard of causing detectable odor is garlic. And there doesn't

seem to be any connection with it and underarm odor in particular. It seems to eminate form all pores.

I've noticed that in addition to

garlic, onions in larger quantity will affect my odor.

The garlic thing is true, some other

spices might also affect the smell of your pee pee.

    Spices will do the same

thing, but vinegar in particular brings very bad body odor. I don't know why most of the odor seems to come from

my left armpit though. Maybe I just have larger apocrine glands there.

    I knew a junkie a long time

ago that used to sniff nail polish for kicks... when that guy sweat I felt like I was in a nail salon.

    Drinking

lots of water would be good.. your body gets rid of lots of chemical waste through the skin. Diluting them with

    water might help.

    Flush your system with water

for a few days should work, and drink some cranberry juice to make your kidneys smile, and in no time at all.... you

have just naturally detoxed your system, and hopefully you can enjoy food with vinegar added.

    Water is the number

1 health product on the market... and its free from the tap... gotta love it.

If your pee isnt clear... you are

dehydrated way to much... drink up that basis of life.

Does anyone else notice their urine

smell very strong after eating asparagas?

    Fenugreek, huh? Sounds

promising. Now if we can just do the same thing for farts, as Ben Franklin says!

    Tiger, vinegar is acetic acid,

which is a smelly pheromone in EW. You might have some acidic water-based toxins that are liberated from their salts

when you eat vinegar, and head straight for your pits, so to speak. So the kidney cleansing advice is good; as are

    saunas, for the same reason.

Most have one pit that is stronger smelling, I think. Perhaps the left pit is

closer to the heart, and therefore processes more blood based toxins first.

    But certain toxins, "undesirables"

and waste products go to certain pore areas, on certain parts of the body. People with food sensitivities, for

example, often break out in the same place every time they eat a certain food. Certain areas of your face can also

be related to certain parts and functions of the body by the appearance of pimples and other lesions. The Chinese

tend to know the most about this sort of thing, I think; but just knowing all this arms you to learn a lot on your

own, just by paying attention to your body!

You can certainly smell the spices

in people's sweat. I knew this girl who always had this strange odor coming from her and I and my friends

couldn't figure it out. It didn't smell like the normal b/o. We would frequent the same clubs at the time and

after she danced for an hour or so the smell was very strong. Then one day she told me she ate garlic and oregeno

bread just about every day. That had to be what it was.
Also, I worked with an Indian guy who said that the

reason so many Indians and Pakistanis smell the way they do is because of the foods they eat which includes lots of

    spices.

    Maybe she was smelling funky

for others reasons? and came up with that excuse just because she was embarrased knowing she was aware of the order

she had. I was not aware Indians and Pakistanis had a smell. All I know is that if someone said to me I'm smelling

weird would make feel self conscience.

Guess, I am finding this hard to believe. I am Mexican and in my culture

we also cosume a lot of spices & hot sauces. I can't recall anyone of my Family or friends smelling like

    cilantro,oregano nor like chipotle.

Actually I came up with that conclusion on my own. We were talking about food

once and she told me she liked to eat a lot of oregeno and garlic bread.

I was not aware Indians and

    Pakistanis had a smell.
Please don't think I'm being racist...I'm not knocking South Asians at all, but a

good deal of them do have a scent. I worked with two Indian guys and a girl and they all had a similar odor. The one

older guy told me it's because of the foods most Indians eat. Sometimes he would bring his lunch from home and heat

it up...the food smelled just like he did! The spices in the food were so strong you could smell it all over the

    building.
I knew a girl who dated a guy from Pakistan and she too said most of them have an odor. Only she dug

    it.

No disrespect intended but, if you're used to being around it, you're not going to notice.

For the record, a scent is like an accent.

It does not have as much to do with race as it does with location and culture. If they eat certain foods in a

location or culture, then that's how they'll smell. Also, like accents, everyone has one. Other cultures have a

certain "scent" to Americans, and Americans (generalizing here; it obviously depends on diet, etc. of the areas)

have a certain "scent" to the rest of the world. You would probably notice subtle differences within cultures, too,

except for the fact that our sense of smell is not what it once was and places like the United States shower and

apply fragrances and deodorants so often that it's harder to pick up natural odors.

It is not totally like an accent.

Different races have different bacteria colonies, which play a large role in the scents people give off.
