Maybe you can get points by
doing well on the arcade or something .. I don't know ... I'm happy with my 6000+ points anyways
As I am
writing this, you are number 1 in the points dept ... cheers

I thought you
could only play in the arcade if you had some posts, and hence points, under you belt.
Oh, yeah .. hmm .. next
theory?
donation from a friend?
Just thought of something ..
there used to be someone named *DO NOT DELETE* who had several thousand points and now that person isn't on the
charts at all .... possibly a new username and a transfer of points? Just a thought ....
I don't get the points stuff. There
are some people with very few posts with seemingly way too many points (even if they started threads).
But
maybe that is just the way it is.
There are a few ways you could get
points without ever having posted.
Donation
Referring a new user
Reputation points (you get quite a few
store points every time someone good reps you)
Arcade jackpot
What happened to Don't Delete... and other
banned users' points is no mystery. On the advice of one of the mods, I deleted all their points. They were just
taking up space on the leader board.
Other than Lifetransport, nothing surprises me. If you start a bunch of
popular threads in the Pheromone Discussion or Research sections, you can retire and move to Tahiti. You get points
every time someone VIEWS the thing, and the amounts are tripled in the PD section and 5X in the research
section.

I know this is kind of off
topic but i have been wondering how users become banned and how other users names become DONOTDELETE? Anyone know
how this comes about?
A user is banned for cause by
Bruce or one of the moderators, usually after repeat warnings. They can no longer post on the forum or use PM or
SMS.
A "Do Not Delete" user is somebody who has requested that all reference to them be removed from the forum.
It allows us to retain their input while removing their name. That is a time consuming process and is pretty rare
but has been done when a user had an over-riding reason for it.
To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.

The DoNotDelete thing is actually a
carry over from a previous forum application. At the moment, we can delete a user and all his/her posts will
immediately be switched to having been posted by a "Guest".

So, that answers your specific question.

To enjoy good health, to bring true happiness to one's family, to bring peace to all, one must first discipline and control one's own mind. If a man can control his mind he can find the way to Enlightenment, and all wisdom and virtue will naturally come to him.
