    Unlikely. Pheromone excretion is

regulated by internal metabolic pathways, and should not be affected by external application of pheromones. If that

was the case, then 3 hours in the gym would also decrease pheromone production due to the pheromone buildup in such

places. Even if it does get affected, withdrawal of the external source should force the body to resume the

    production of pheromones.

    To quote myself from earlier

today (with a slight edit to remove the lazy posting factor ):

"there is no feedback process that controls

the amount of pheromones present on your skin (i.e when there is lots, preduction will not slow).

    However, it has

been suggested that detection of sex pheromones causes an individual to react by secreting more of their own sex

pheros as a responce, for example, to an individual you want to attract. There is also a possibility that the

increase in sex hormones in the blood will result in a spike in pheromone production (these two may be one and the

    same).

I'm not sure how those two points interact, I guess it's a case of deciding how we would differentiate

    between self-produced and foreign pheromones."
