Then there is probably "Bang Cock
Dangerous" too...
Never argue with ignorant people! They pull you down to THEIR level, and then they BEAT YOU with experience. Who said that!? I don't know, but tis gold I tell'ya!!

The opposite of love isn't hate.
It's apathy.
If a guy's a cocksucker in his life, when he dies, he don't become a saint. - Morris Levy, Hitmen
Holmes' Theme Song
Doubt - great, up until the
embarrassment of an ending.
Quantum Of Solace - total piece of shit from beginning to end. Like watching a
video game being played by someone else far younger than you. Or a two-hour preview for a movie which might actually
have a story and characters worth caring about.

That's a shame about Q of S, I
was looking forward to it, and kind of liked the new Bond in Casino Royale, more like the Fleming novels. Guess
they haven't completely decided on how to handle the "new" one.
Further evidence than Nintendo is evil, and
wanX-box causes blindness.
I prefer 007 by Sean Connery,
more relax and fun. The actual one is like PI od. the old one is more like Chikara

The Day the Earth Stood Still
was watchable, but I won't be buying the DVD when it comes out.
Next up ... Seven Pounds.

Idesign - difficult to speculate
as to who would like this movie and who would not. For me, number one, I cannot abide Craig or the way he plays
Bond. To me, Dalton was closest to the novels.
This piece of crap was little more than a surfeit of MTV bullshit
that views like it was crafted by Brett Ratner's technologically-spoiled, attention-deficient, sugar-addicted
15-year-old. 98% flash and 2% substance. Zero nuance with regard to plot development, zero room to breathe. Not
my kind of Bond film.
The wanX-box... .
abductor - I was always heavily biased toward Roger Moore
myself.
Mobley - rent the original and watch for the tanks skidding around the corner in the beginning.
Priceless!
Checking out Frost/Nixon tomorrow. Hopefully Frank Langella isn't too much of a ham in this one.

me what you think of that one, i worked REALLY REALLY hard on it
I just caught Grand Turino on DVD.
Didn't know it was a "dark comedy..."
Some of the non-verbal reactions were hilarious. Watching Eastwood
"twitch" and steam as his peevement grew was neat.
However I couldn't but help but think of it as Dirty Harry
Goes Out With A Bang.
I expected at any minute to hear Eastwood's character come out with a "Go ahead make my
day..." or "Are you feeling lucky, punk."
And it was just a little too predictable a story. But what the heck.

We went to see the newest
remake of Robin Hood last night. Its a good movie, well made and hsitorically accurate as far as I could tell.
To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.
