Had the

same problem with the secure server, so I ordered through the toll free number. The woman taking the call was kind

of taken aback when I told her the name of the product. I spelled the name for her and told her it was just offered

today. Looking forward to trying it. And it looks like it will arrive before I leave for vacation. Not much time to

test it before the trip though.

Now the dilema is, do I try this product, Pheros/NPA or other mones + my RL

Silver on my friend when I see her next week. Think it\'ll be Pheros first as I really want her opinion on it. I

want to try it all, but don\'t want to confuse her either.

What a mess. In all the

time I have been with this gateway I have never seen such an outage. About 2-3 times a year we have to live with

an hour out at 1 AM, but we have never been down (from the gateway anyway) during the day. Here is part of an

email I got about an hour ago (6:30 AM Pacific)

The following message was received from our provider

regarding the outage
experienced this morning. Since power was restored, we have been working to
restore all

gateway services. This should be completed shortly.


At approximately 0225 CDT our availability monitoring

systems began
generating alerts indicating that our Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)
systems had transitioned

from AC power to battery. Before our onsite
technicians could investigate the issue further fire alarms sounded in

the
building and all staff were required to evacuate. At this time several
additional oncall technicians were

paged and began making their way to the
facility.

Shortly after evacuation was complete the Dallas Fire

Department (DFD)
arrived on-site and forbade anyone from entering the building above the
first floor level. As our

equipment is located on the 20th and 24th floors
our technicians were still unable to further investigate the

impact of what
was now being described as an electrical fire was having on our operations.
Upon arriving on the

20th floor the DFD reported thick haze and the order
was given to disengage all UPS units via their fire code

mandated Emergency
Power Off (EPO) facility. This culminated in the remaining UPS powered
equipment being

transitioned off battery power resulting in a lights out
condition affecting our entire suite on the 20th floor

along with
approximately 1/3 of the building.

At approximately 0405 CDT the DFD removed the restriction on

movement within
the building and restarted elevator service. Upon arriving at our suite our
technicians observed

that AC power had not yet been restored even though the
building was reported to be back on mains AC.

As of 0701

CDT the building engineers have restored power to our suite and
the DFD have given permission for us to stand down

from our EPO status. All
clients should see machines begin to come back online at this time.

aspect of your service.

(internet credit card order interface) is still down. (9:30 AM pacific) Tech support over there is not even taking

calls, so it could be a while. We have the phones set up to take orders for Chikara now, so that is probably the

best route for the moment. The lines are open 24/7

Is there a way of verifying if my order went through? I called the 1-800 number before the new

stuff was in their computer. She took my order but was confused when I gave her the name of the product. I figure I

don\'t get an email confirmation with this one.
