edge and primal difference?

I know primal only has androstenone but does edge have both androstenone and androstenol?

The Edge (0.012% phero content) is like a diluted version of NPA (0.048% phero content). Therefore The Edge isn\'t as strong as Primal (0.050% phero content) is. But then you get more of The Edge and it\'s cheaper. The actual contents of The Edge and NPA have never really been stated, just that each contains 2.4mg of pheromones. But most seem to agree it does contain -none + some other unknown substances. Supposedly these unknown substances improve the effectiveness of The Edge and NPA over just using -none alone. So in terms of -none content, Primal is the strongest of the 3 products. Although Rogue Male (0.050% phero content) has the same amount of -none as Primal but comes with an APC like scent. I did contact the manufacturers on a different subject and was told they use 3 pheromones in their products, two of which target the VNO. Not sure what that means though.

Also according to the Love-Scent Product Table Primal is Oil based, where as The Edge and NPA are alcohol based.

Edge smells like vodka!!! Having drunk enough of the stuff in my younger days (vodka...not Edge [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img]) I nearly downed it in one when I unscrewed the cap and smelt it.

What it smells like when the alcohol has evaporated, I couldn\'t tell you. I would assume I\'m one of the population that can\'t smell -none.

Probably like cats piss if it\'s like how everyone says NPA smells. I have heard some say they only use 1-2 sprays of The Edge due to the smell and cover it up with strong cologne.

Regular Edge is \"unscented\", or more accurately, it\'s \"no fragrance added\", because those of us who CAN smell Androstenone (and whatever other pheros are in there) will tell you that it has a VERY distinct scent when not covered with a fragrance.

Androstenol reportedly is NOT one of TE\'s (or NPA\'s) \"secret ingredients\". At least in the men\'s versions.

There are four Edge formulae:
Men\'s Edge (unscented)
Men\'s Edge (sandalwood)
Women\'s Edge (unscented)
Women\'s Edge (vanilla)

does it mean that the sandalwood version of TE will not be that effective compared to unscented version.
