Probably androstadienone in the

women\'s and estrataetranol in the men\'s.

BTW, the one study that was published on estrataetranol found

that it made men depressed, as did androstadienone.

Can you post a link

to this research study? I have yet to hear any one state that Realm made them depressed.

I don\'t know, I have a

buddy that uses Realm. It\'s what got me interested in pheros in the first place. I was always extremely confident

when I used it. Admittedly, it could\'ve been psychosomatic, but it was enough to get me to buy the newbie kit and

start learning.

You\'re probably thinking of A1,

which is not in Realm.

I believe this is the study

people are referring to. Perfumery and the Sixth

Sense (\"http://www.erox.com/SixthSense/StoryOne.html\")
This research was funded by Erox, so no guarantees on it being impartial.

There was a study by

McClintock and a couple other people testing the compounds androstadienone and estratetraenol to see if they had the

effects claimed by some people. She says that neither compound made people more friendly, self-confident, or

social. She did find that they both kept a woman\'s positive mood from going negative. But about 9 hours after

exposure there appeared to be a rebound effect, making women less pleasant. Also said that estratetraenol

immediately gave women an amphetamine-like feeling, reduced fatigue.

The study didn\'t say too much about

men, except that \"Women responded more strongly and positively to both steroids. Men actually felt worse after

exposure to the steroids, as compared to the control, especially in response to estratetraenol.\"

Here\'s the

reference, sorry I don\'t have a link for you
Pheromones and Vasanas: The Functions of Social Chemosignals. By:

McClintock, Martha K.; Jacob, Suma; Zelano, Bethanne; Hayreh, Davinder J.S.. Nebraska Symposium on Motivation, 2001,

Realm makes me kinda moody and irritable, although I wouldn\'t say

depressed. I have an almost full bottle but never wear it. I also don\'t like the scent very much.
