View Full Version : JVK? sandalwood and 'rone molecular structure
I\'ve read somewhere that sandalwood has a similar molecular structure to androsterone? Do you know
anything about this, and does it mean anything?

Dunno about sandlewood - but it does have a nice smell. Thought musk was similar to androsterone ?

I think some of it may be found if you do a search for \'celery\'.

Yea. It was also recently spoken about in the \"bees\" thread. I recommend checking that
out. Still, I do not think any real conclusions have been reached, just speculations. Problem is, nobody really
knows too much about it, so there is not a lot to say.

Sounds familiar, but only one researcher, Luca Turin, has speculated on structure related vibration and
comparable olfactory attributes. Most other research shows that a very slight variation in structure can make a
world of difference in the odor perceived.
