A friend of mine told

me the most effective pheromones were from Russia and that natural ones were better than artificial ones. Is there

any truth to this?

Considering my

country went through a 40 year soviet dominion period, I can assure you russian products suck

It was almost too funny to see a russian helicoptor lined up

beside the others at an airshow a decade ago. All the others were neat and tidy. The Russian one was ummmm....

functional I spose. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

<hr /></blockquote><font class=\"post\"> is he talking about human ones at all? Sounds dodgy to me. natural

ones are nice but not as concentrated /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Well our army is

still using some russian technology (even though we are in the NATO:)...I believe we have ummm two migs left, one of

which is missing a wheel which nobody knows how to replace. There were like 15 of them in the early 90s, but they

all crashed /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Our army has some elite paratroopers and a field

hospital (been in Iraq), but the airforce is kinda....absent.

And how does all this

relate to mones /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Russia has some great pilots btw flying´s a

pretty big thing over there.

Russian pilots,

just as scientists, are great at one thing: achieving results equal or even better than their western counterparts

with a fraction of their resources.
What a western scientists builds from $2 million resources, an eastern one can

do with a piece of wire and an old calculator. Because he doesn\'t have a choice, obviously.

I work with a very smart, funny old russian engineer. I can definitely see some

resourcefulness there.
Prefers Soviet because he\'s not actually from the state of Russia.
Maybe the

Ukraine?

Rakesh

Well that\'s

kinda problematic because soviet refers to the former soviet union which no longer exists, and using soviet as a

common term for everything east of germany would probably get you killed very fast anywhere east of germany.

Yeah

I\'ll have to ask him specifically.
Speaking of things russian, how about that super-cavitating torpedo, the

Squall?

rakesh, does that

include the former DDR? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Doubt it:)

Somehow, you need to speak a slavonic language to be considered soviet
