Sorry Apple...I don\'t think that you\'ll find any \'real\' psychic that will give you any true or

definite answers about the future. The future is made up of way too many little choices that alter your reality

every second of the day.
I do firmly believe that people can see and feel possible futures, but waiting an extra

five minutes because I burned my toast in the morning can alter the vision that a psychic had had of me the night

before.

For the record, everyone\'s psychic. Ever know when someone was going to call or what song would be on the

radio when you turned it on (I\'m not talking KISS FM where you know what song will be played over and over and

using your intuition or gut feeling. Obviously, some people are better than others, but everyone has psychic

ability to some extent. It\'s just not the, \"You\'re going to be a millionaire\" kind that people wish they

I personally feel

that you (and the college admissions people) determine that. What if the psychic told you that you wouldn\'t get

into that particular school (the bastards /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif who wouldn\'t want a

sweet girl like you) Would you believe that psychic and simply go to a lesser school b/c you knew you\'d get

in.... NOT!!!
Don\'t taint your goals with what might or might not happen... simply make it happen the way you

want it to... or at least do everything you possibly can to make it so.

Agreed. That--in addition

to actual work--is the way dreams are realized.

But (back to the topic of psychics) there are people who can

somehow tap into your \"energy field\" or whatever and pick things up, past, present, or future. It\'s pretty

weird.

And BTW, fake is the new real, don\'t ya know.

Some are real-- not usually the ones who are earning their livelihood at it.

I had a friend

in college who could see \"pictures\" in one\'s hand. His prognostications almost always proved correct. He

Try to visualize what you want with ALL FIVE senses, though. See the

campus, smell the buildings, feel the... whatever.

I have TWO quick stories about visualizing to attain a

goal.

When I was active in the Society for Creative Anachronism, a friend, who is an excellent and renowned

blacksmith was auctioning off one of his beautiful, hand-tempered daggers.

I visualized winning, and visualized

winning, and visualized winning. But, I only use my VISUAL sense. I won... a watercolor picture of a dagger. True

story!

Another raffle story-- I visualized winning a certain prize. I won FIVE prizes, but not the one that I

wanted. I was called the MECDA (the name of the organization) Raffle Queen, that year.

Pancho\'s right. Some people also develop it by \"tuning in\" on their gut feelings, a lot,

by meditating, and by other exercises.

Psychic impressions tend to manifest through different senses in

different people. My college friend saw pictures (clairvoyant), some people have \"gut feeelings\"

(clairsentient), or hear things (clairaudient).

though.... I have had this ability (to a much lesser degree than true \'psychics\') my entire life. I don\'t

\'see\' anything, but I do get flashes of \'insight\' that I have learned to trust over the years.. and they

have been right on the money about 98% of the time.
But I never tried to actually develope this ability, so its

more of simply accepting premonitions, rather than actually seeking certain information. Damn, I could have won the

Maybe not, honey. I\'m a little clairsentient in a TOTALLY

useles way (probably from all the meditation that I do). I can sometimes predict that an old movie is gonna be rerun

on TV, about two weeks before it is announced. How\'s THAT for worthless? :-(

When I was a little girl, I could

predict when older relative were going to die. I\'d dream of reading the obit.

psychic realm. Since everyone hopes to win the lottery, everyone\'s psychic energy is fighting against

each other for their own numbers to appear on the screen. Therefore, it\'s nearly impossible to determine those

For most of my life I

have occaisionally had what could be called gut feelings about things. Certain knowledge just kind of pops into my

head and it is rarely wrong. But I\'ve never been able to pin down whether it was my subconcious putting clues

together or if it was some psychic flash. My own opinion is that it is the former but who knows?

In high school

and college enough people noticed it to start calling me The Wizard which somebody later changed to Belgareth which

stuck. Over the years it has probably caused me more trouble than anything else. Friends, co-workers and employers

really don\'t like the feeling that you are reading their minds. Unfortunately, it is such fun when it happens

i just wanted to know what that kind of psychic ability was called. it

happens to me way too often, weirder still is that its gotten worse since i met my SO... deja vu and dreams coming

I had a this same dream quite

regularly when i was about 7 through 10, and just forgot about it, then when about 19, i had the big deja vu, it was

that dream.
I use to hypnotise my friends, and make them do funny stuff at parties, dabbled in past life

regression, that started getting a bit freaky.
I\'m getting into outer body experiences now, induced through self

hypnosis. i\'ve had 3 but there\'ve been more by accident, anybody had an obe?
Theres weird stuff out there

I hear voices....It\'s a

cross from voices and whispers a lot of the times I can\'t make them out, but some I can.

When I was younger,

when ever I had a dream of something dying, they did shortly after. Lucky enough most of them were animals of mine

or friends. I also get dejavu pretty bad. From what I have read about Dejavu, there are 3 types. I mainly

experience the one where things seem and feel familiar as if ive been there before.

I also had a dream very

recently where something (female I think) in my dreams was telling me the closer I am to death the more I would be

able to see and hear the truth

(No im not crazy)!!!
