Hey

all... I know this really isn\'t the forum for sports discussions, but I figured that there had to be a few

football fans around here (real football.. American Style...no offense to our foreign friends

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif )
Anyway... I\'m sure that you can all figure out where my

loyalties are by my location, but just for the record... The Patriots are gonna win.... it might not be pretty, but

they will win. I figure it will be very low scoring,,,, maybe 12-6 Pats

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Anyone else care to make a prediction?

I\'ll find a

player that I think is really hot and then that will be the team I\'ll want to win.

I

predict that there will be a victor, an inordinate number of commercials and lots of drunk ppl. Which reminds me of

a great Super Bowl drinking game for those of you hangin\' out w/ friends. Everyone chooses 3 things that could

possibly happen during the course of the game. Could be anything really...like a 1st down, a flag, a score board

shot, a fan shot, a high five, a touch down, stats...whatever. And it\'s not limited to just the game; it could

include things like certain types of commercials...cars, beer, etc. You get the idea. So everyone can choose 3

things, you write each one down on a piece of paper, put them all in a \"hat\" and then each person draws 3 pieces

of paper. Anytime one of the events that you drew happens, you have to drink. If you catch someone slacking, you

can make them drink. Beware of what you choose to write down because you could really screw yourself over if you

draw your own choices. Trust me on this, I had a buddy write down huddle thinking that he was really gonna get

somebody wasted, but he drew is own choice. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif He was right,

though. He did get someone really wasted....himself. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif Don\'t be

too surprised if the drinking game deteriorates before the 3rd quarter is finished.

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Good luck and have fun.

Timberlake is said to be TOTALLY pissed. And, some show-biz folks are

saying they think she did it to promo the new album-- which turned up on a lot of significant desks, that morning.

As an ex-dancer, I can tel you that costume disasters only happen in public, and at the worst possible times. I

lost two bras on stage myself (but, that was over a 20-year period). A friend lost a skirt. There are worse stories.

But, on the other hand-- all the Jacksons are wierd.

How about

the fact that promotes treating women like objects. Kids didn\'t know it was a setup, it looked like here was

this guy ripping off a woman\'s clothes. It sends a message to kids and teenagers that such behavior is

For me,

it being the Superbowl and kids watching is part of it, but not really the main piece for me. The point is it was

done solely for a shock, to raise her career and to shock America for no real reason whatsoever. So basically it was

media whoring and exploiation of American values. Now I don\'t agree with all of America\'s values at all, but I

know bullshit when I smell it and mine smells the most./ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif You see I

don\'t have a problem with a female vocalist superstar who is very slutty, if and IF ONLY that is who she truly

is, but what I see is fake imaging and b/s all over the place. She did it for the whole purpose of pissing/getting a

reaction out of people. Now if it was done for this reason then, who are we to debate whether or not people are

flipping out when infact they \"are\" supposed to./ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

On a episode

of ER that is airing tonight they took out the nude breasts of a patient which is part of the episode and has a

reason for being there, they did this due to the Superbowl stunt. I do not AGREE with that. I think if ER wants to

have that bit of nudity as it relates to the context of that show it should be allowed, and we can already see how

that little stint does not change peoples mindsets it may make them apathetic and such.... I don\'t have a problem

with nudity, or sexuality, but during the Superbowl? It is way out of context, and has let us all be guinea pigs to

MTV\'s next cool thing. I don\'t agree with a lot of European policies and ideas, but I agree with many and

their stance on nudity is to me the most healthy, but people know the majority of American mindset and they know

what is and what isn\'t needed.

So yes, I think the breast popping was stupid! I am not speaking about morality

or taste as that can be very opinionated, but am talking about motive.

P.S. I didn\'t really care much for

Janet\'s tit, it was kind of flabby, droopy, pierced...not hot at all, hey she put herself out there to be

I think with many female

I never really agreed too much with this statement,

any 13 year old that watches that and then thinks it is ok to tear the clothes off of a girl at school is 1. Very

stupid, if not borderline retarded 2. Has no parental or other positive figures. I really don\'t see that being

the case at all. Sure I will agree with the argument of it being bad taste, but this is just the world as it has

already been. We have learned that things like this are not the issues that damn or end a society. The world is not

changing that much, and the world is not getting any worse in my opinion.

People are well aware of the context

of fantasy, actors/singers are seen as fantasy for many, sex/violence is highly overrated as to causing problems

with children. I agree with some women who take this type of behavior, touchy feely perverted guys are a bunch of

ball-less douche bags, who are either very ugly personality wise or physically that they try to take short

i think if

americans were raised with more open mindedness about the human body her breast being exposed wouldnt have been such

a big deal. the fact of it being like she was being sexually assaulted cause her top was pulled off, now THAT should

another body part, like an exposed toe or something, is a huge deal... just my opinion tho, i draw naked people all

Kids have to grow up too quickly these days. Innocence is not a bad thing and once it is lost

it can not be regained. Let the kids keep their innocence if they want to.

If a TV program wants to show bare

breasts then OK, but people have a choice to watch or not. Janet just flopping her poor excuse for a boob out

during a football game is just wrong, in poor taste, and perhaps even criminal. The fact that her motives sucked

and that she did it without approval just makes it worse.

i think if americans were raised with more open

mindedness about the human body her breast being exposed wouldnt have been such a big deal. the fact of it being

like she was being sexually assaulted cause her top was pulled off, now THAT should have been the issue!! but for

some reason the real problem was ignored and something that should be concidered just another body part, like an

exposed toe or something, is a huge deal... just my opinion tho, i draw naked people all the time

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif so a boob flopping out isnt a big deal at all

i do agree that

the reasons behind it were pretty F*cked up too tho

Rumor has it

that the S. Bowl folks are secretly high-fiving, over the publicity.

Question-- what did they THINK would happen

if MTV produced it? I mean, we also have Nelly\'s crotch-grabbing. Or, maybe he had jock-itch/

I may be

the only person who feels this way, but I\'m tired of the big production numbers for the Super Bowl and various

bowl games, regardless of who produced it or which genre of artists they get to perform. I think this whole trend

got started with the Orange Bowl years ago when they got famous for their Disney-produced half time extravaganzas,

and everybody picked up on that trend. I feel it\'s gotten out of hand to the distraction of the game.

The

Super Bowl should be about football, not distracting production numbers. You don\'t see any bigtime production

numbers of this magnitude at the World Series or NBA finals.

I\'d like to see them just get back to the

basics of football with the Super Bowl.

I had this conversation with several guys a
