I mean, Panch and Manh. I\'m

a great speller, but a [censored] typist.

I\'m not too

young, but I liked Mr. Rogers and Sesame Street instead. Mr. Rogers was the man here because he\'s from

Pittsburgh. In fact, Mr. Rogers and Captain Kangaroo discussed the state of children\'s television on many

occasions as mentioned in that article. My heart will always go to Mr. Rogers. God rest his soul, he was the man.

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif Thank God for both of them for they were so influential to

children over the years.

Mister

Rogers was a flaming homo! And he couldn\'t shine Captain Kangaroos\' shoes.

Apparently you

didn\'t absorb any of the positive messages from those programs.

I

grew up with both of them.... and they both added to the strong moral values my parents were teaching me at the time

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif But... It was the good Captain and his faithful sidekick Mr

Greenjeans by a long shot. Gotta love the ping-pong balls.... ya just gotta love em.

RIP Capt.

Same.

Both were incredible. Irreplaceable, really.

Figure they\'ll be auctioning off the Capt.\'s jacket on

ebay?

I watched

the Cap\'n in the 50s. Remember Grandfather Clock? Captain K. used to have an incredible train set as I

remember. I used to dream about it (literally) when I was a little squirt. I loved my train set.
