please forgets the \"S\" in the end of \"X-Windows\" and yes
..
Before \"MS Windows\"...
The X Window System has been developed at the MIT (Massachusetts Institute of
Technology) with support from DEC and it was designed to provide the Athena Project at the Computer Science Lab with
a user interface. The aim was to produce a distributed, hardware-independent user interface. In the first time X was
primarily used within MIT and DEC and mainly been developed by Robert Scheifler and Ron Newman from MIT and Jim
Gettys from DEC. The newer Version 11 of the X Window System is now supported by a large number of commercial
vendors and control has been overtaken by the X Consortium to keep the standard. The hardware-independent structure
helped the system to be available on several different computer platforms with different operating systems.

Man I really dont know need some tests! But I think it is very possible if
we can make a Boot system .. Like \"Lilo\" maybe we can ..
however occurred me at this moment that I can install
the \"VMware\" on Linux-X-Box and Run \"Windows on Linux\"
VMware Workstation is powerful virtual machine so we
can install any OS type.
You got to be careful messng with
it. One guy in a game store told me his friend opened it, and the xbox stopped working. Apparently some safe guards
that they put in it so people do not mess with it.
However, I have heard of plenty of people who have
successfully messed with it. I have a mot(d) chip that is a year old that I never installed. I wanted to copy games
and make it a DVD player.

I can use my Xbox to
watch DVD, Divx, listen to mp3, play videogames (although I didn\'t buy it for that), and keep several movies in
the hard disk (that, by the way, has about 45 GB, since I installed a new disk and made few modifications)...
It\'s almost like a PC...
