Hello
all! Long time lurker here. I don\'t post much, but I have long enjoyed the discussions here -- and I\'ve
learned a lot from Bruce and the gang!
Been wanting some feedback and personal experiences on the nature of
Pheromones and Commitment. See, I\'ve read tons of threads about the use of Pheromones with attracting,
increasing sexual desire and even promoting romance. And I\'ve had success myself with all of the above. But
I\'m wondering - has any research been done with pheromones and whether or not they can influence the elusive
\"commitment\" gene in males? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Ok, so I know this may be a
silly discussion, but indulge me. Anyone have any thoughts, testimonials or recipes on the topic?
Best,
Xen

Copulins might.
But, to be honest, the best way to get a man to commit is to cook

Hmmmm...
copulens. eh? Perhaps I\'ll have to try a new mix with the ones I have. Any suggestions?
And hey, he loves my
cooking! I just need him to stop sampling the cooking of \"other chefs\" lol

I\'ve written on this topic in the past in the forum, but I don\'t remember when. I think I talked about it in
terms of \"faithfulness\".
Yes, copulins are the best raw pheromones, since they are a signal to nest.
The classic essential oil for making a guy commit is unquestionably cumin, which contains large
amounts of copulins (plus other pheromones specific to committment), along with vanilla (a familiar, safe,
accepting, trusting, homey scent that makes a good combination with cumin for that purpose)and valerian (which also
contains copulins, along with the homey smell of bare feet). Musk of course is also good, as is ambergris. Woods and
spices, such as cinnamon and clove, would round out the hominess effect.
My own committment perfume would
begin with the ingredients I just mentioned, but would of course require other things to complete it.
I\'m
confident your potion will be off to a good start with these things.
But be forewarned if you\'ve never
used cumin EO -- it is one of the strongest smelling substances produced by nature, as bad as EW or even worse, (!)
and must be diluted quite a bit before use in perfumery or aromatherapy.
