View Full Version : Power over friends

In highschool,

everyone, including myself, is a sh*thead. We are jerks, we are mad for no reason, and we hurt people emotionally

just for the fun of it.

In my group of friends, I have a few close ones, who would stick by my side through thick

and thin, others are my friends only when it is convinient for them. For instance, they won\'t talk to me in a

week, but all of a sudden, when they need a ride somewhere, I am their best friend.

It is funny how it works, if

two people are friends, and one of them ignores and is a jerk the other, the other all of a sudden wants to be

closer friends with the jerk. Unfortunately, I have been both.

So is that how it truly works? Because a close

friend of mine, all of a sudden has been acting like he is superior to me, and I find myself wanting to hang out

with him more. Is that how it works?

P.S.- I should say I don\'t plan on becoming good, life-long friends with

the jerks that I speak of. So please don\'t lecture me about all that stuff.

yup, that\'s

how it works. one of the basic rules of persuasion and seduction is to put a value on urself. he acts superior to

u so u\'d feel more validated by hanging out with him. like u said, im sure everyone has been on both ends of the

stick one time or another. IMO, it\'s understandable to do that during one\'s puberty but eventually the person

needs to grow out of it. if u want to, u could even things out by calling him on his new attitude bullshit...or

treat him as u would a stuckup self-centered girl and allow urself to become more of a challenge. don\'t return

his calls, hang out with him less and move on to ur other friends and make him wonder why he\'s lost his power

over u. then depending on his patience the tables will turn when he realizes his attitude routine doesn\'t work

on u anymore. this won\'t work on everyone it\'s just a basic psychology logic for ur reference.

Yes, that is how it works.

Thank God high school only lasts four years.

That said, however, such behavior seems to be alive and kicking well

past the 12th grade. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

That works

within the ranks of the same sex, but girls rarely fall into the trick. Are they clever or what?

How about the

Occult? Worked for Himmler.

I still think your

best bet is too get a bunch of $$ and pay people to be your friends.

Yeah, that crowd RUINED the swastika--

which is a Hindu and Buddhist holy symbol. It represents the four elements in balance in evolution, and also the sun

at vernal equinox. They also use Futhark runes, a lot.

The Futhark escaped the enduring connection with Nazism,

however.

Futhark was used for the Elvish runes in all those Hobbit movies. I don\' know about the books-- I

never read them.

I bet you watched them because you have a thing for little men with hairy

feet... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif J/K.

Seriously, though, the swastika is a good luck

symbol in some cultures and, like you said, holy in others. It\'s such a cool symbol---too bad it means so many

bad things now. Bastards.

What is it like to have power over friends? I wouldn\'t know...

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif While we\'re at it...what is it like to buy them? How much do

they cost, like $4.95 with coupon? Are there any two-for-one discounts? Is it like Mexico where it\'s $20 per

lady? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif A threesome in Mexico is $40...in case that sort of thing

interests you... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

*rolls eyes* I\'m a dork.

PS:

We definitely need a rolls-eyes smiley.

I\'ll hang out

with you for $40/hour. You are allowed to tell people we are friends. For $70/hour you can tell them we are having

sex.
