I\'ve

always thought the making of New Year\'s resolutions was an admirable idea, even if the results are seldom as

effective as hoped.

The best approach is to think about what one can do to make oneself a better person. Saying

something like \"Lose 20 lb\" is nice but not action-oriented.

My resolution this year is to not speak so

critically of people. Everybody has something that can be criticized, so finding something on someone is of little

merit. Voicing a criticism is seldom helpful and almost never will reflect positive on the one giving the

criticism.

I think your

resolution is bad. I don\'t think that you will succeed. People have problems in this world and we need to let

them know what jerks they are.

My resolution is to be more positive, encouraging and sweet.

going to stop putting chewed up gum in SRH\'s hair. I thought about it and came to the conclusion that it just

wasn\'t a nice thing to do. I may change my mind, but as of now I am going to try to stick with it.
