Folks,
Every

now and then we get a complaint from somebody who wants \"discreet billing\" meaning they don\'t want to see

\"Love Scent\" on their credit card statement. We do have a way that orders can be placed by phone and get

something other than \"Love Scent\" on the bill, but maybe that is a pain in the neck. Or maybe some folks go

silently away because they fear getting something they don\'t want on their bill.

I am thinking about changing

the billing name to \"LS Products\". What do you think about that? The drawback is that sooner or later somebody

will not make the connection and phone their bank saying they don\'t recognize the transaction, possibly demanding

a chargeback. So it is a tradeoff.

The big question is: How serious is the \"discreet billing\"

issue???

Thoughts?

I could

imagine it being quite awkward to explain your spouse what \"Love-Scent\" is... They will think it is some sort of

porn or dating site.. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Good

call. I like, \"L-S Products\". If you can\'t get \"Love-Scent\" from \"L-S\" when you made the purchase,

you need more help than just cancelling your order...hell, you might not know how to do that.

Good idea. I made my last order by phone, mainly because several friends

of mine work at my bank. Don\'t know how curious they are.

While the girl at the call center was very

friendly, she didn\'t even know anything about EE. Many months after it was available. So I was hearing music in

an overseas call several minutes until she figured it out.
And you seem to have to spell your address in each

call, they don\'t seem to save the addresses. So many errors can occur.
The call center isn\'t a good solution

for me.

I made a google search for \"LS Products\" and it gives many *different* funny results. So it\'s ok

for me.

OK, I think

I\'ll do that. Back when we set the account up, I thought briefly about it, but I had this nagging fear of folks

not remembering what they ordered. The discreet thingy seems to be a bigger issue.

Thanks!

OK, I\'ll

keep you posted. It\'s not as easy as I thought it would be. Everybody I talk to tells me that is somebody

else\'s department and when I talk to \"that\" person, he/she tells me it is actually the first guy\'s

responsibility. I feel like I am in a Abbot and Cosello movie. Needless to say customer service is not a big

priority to bankers. One conversation started like this:
CS person: This is Sam (name changed to protect the

guilty). May I help you?
Me (trying to be all friendly and everything): Hi, my name is Bruce. How\'re you

doin\'?
CS (stern voice): May I help you with something?

Now is it just me or couldn\'t the guy have said

\"Fine, how are you?\" I mean, hey, he\'s getting paid by the freaking hour. Why not enjoy yourself a little

bit? I sure as hell would.

Anyway. Times like this I miss Japan. Actually CS has gone down hill over there

pretty bad too. Thailand, that\'s the place. Let\'s all move to Thailand. Anybody with me?

Gang,

I

changed the billing a couple weeks ago now I think, so folks should be seeing the new billing modality on their card

statements by now. Anyone noticing a transaction from us, please drop me a short note and let me know how it

appears now. (company name, phone # etc)

Thanks,
B
