I am a (very)
big fan of Hugo Boss, I love to smell of it and girls go all wobbly at the knees aswell.
But I am constantly
thinking that I need some change, at least some kind of variation. I am always trying out different colognes, but I
can never find anything that I like as much, until yesterday.
I found myself dragging my g/f to the cologne
section again, on the premise that if I bought anything she could get points on her store card
/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif But she was convinced that nothing could beat HB. I had to agree,
until I picked up the Platinum Egoist tester bottle. Damn that stuff smells good! My g/f thought it was pretty good,
but wasnt amazed, but I liked it so much I bought it.
We were going to a friends birthday meal, so we went back
to my house so I could get changed. I thought I would give Platinum a test run, and put on a small amount of pheros
and covered with 1 spray of Platinum to each side of my neck, and one between my wrists and one on my chest (under
two layers of clothing). I went downstairs and got her to smell it, she said it smelled really nice, subtle but
nice. To cut to the chase, she then got very horny, so we went back upstairs...
In short, Platinum has made two
new big fans this weekend (although I\'m not sure that it beats HB...). It is very subtle, and yet when you catch
a whiff it really grabs you. Over time it changes to something \"very yummy\" (from the g/f).

yeah, I
quote you... Platinum Egoist does smell great!
By the way, what do you guys think about the cologne Le Male? I
read that it is one of the best (there are some threads here about it, as you probably know), but honestly when I
\"sniffed\" it from the bottle, it didn\'t seem too pleasant. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
Would I be wrong about that? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif (for those who use Le Male)

It is either
love or hate with Le Male. Personally I can\'t stand the vanilla scent either.

Le Male has to
be put on very lightly (less is more once again I guess...). I still like it (not as much as I used too) but it is
way too popular. I don\'t want to wear something everyone else wears.
Let\'s be honest too! Why do you wear a
fragrance? To be more attractive, right? As so many men wear Le Male, I don\'t think it\'s very unlikely to meet
girls who have had lovers wearing it, and I don\'t want to them to be put of because I wear it too (after all
something probably went wrong), or have the scent ON ME remind them of someone else. I tend to go for niche
scents.
To me, scent is also more than just an attraction \"device\". I wouldn\'t wear a cologne that drives
girls mad while I totally hate it.

The one that
(annoyingly) seems to have no name.
It might be called \"Boss\", or \"Boss Bottled\", but when
I\'ve said this to people they have no idea what I am talking about. People just seem to call it Hugo
Boss.
It\'s in a clear bottle (shaped like an actual bottle) with Boss in raised letters on the side, and the
liquid is a pale yellow.
Does anyone know what it\'s called?

Ah, yes. Got it
now. It\'s \"Boss.\" I was confused for a minute, as there\'s also one called \"Hugo.\" But no \"Hugo
Boss.\"
Thanks Cpt.

Cpt,
Basenotes
lists 10 different Hugo Boss fragrances for men and shows the bottle types for each. Can\'t seem to link straight
to the Boss page though, so here\'s the home page:
www.basenotes.net (\"http://www.basenotes.net\")
There are even phero products listed on there nowadays. Check out the selections from the \"Fragrance Houses\"
of LaCroy and Stone Research Labs.
