Here\'s a drink that reminds me of alcoholic root beer.
In a tall glass with ice
1 shot vodka
1 shot
Jagermeister
1 shot Damiana Liquor
Fill with sparkling water and stir
Anyone have a cute name?

Sounds viscious and delicious! So you could call it \"VD\".
/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif Or JagVodDam. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
For more street cred: DJ Master V. Or, in honor of Pacino, \"Something Very Bad\".
/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif Oh, you said \"cute\" names! Sorry, can\'t think of
any.
But out of curiosity, Mr. Whitehall, why the vodka? That looks superfluous, as the alcohol wouldn\'t
be lacking without it; and maybe the per level of buzz craziness factor (PLBCF) would be diluted. Although, adding
more cheap alcohol makes a drink better, bang for the buck wise.
I\'d like also to try 2:1 D:Y with a
little lime, fresh cinnamon, and soda.
My favorite is simply Damiana on the rocks with muddled lime juice.
Delicious, plenty alcoholic, and sexy. Damn, don\'t women love it too. Blended it\'s even better.
But
the Jager shot seems to add a crazy element of some sort. How\'s the buzz? It would be tempting in this regard to
throw a shot of Souza (or better, if you\'ve the budget for pure Agave) in for good measure.
/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif Then you could call it the John Belushi.

Why the vodka? Jagermeister and Damiana liquor are only 60 proof or so and there is a lot of sparkling water in it
(Pelligrio is my favorite.)
This is the recipe I do at home where I want one big drink. For a professional
bartending recipe, it would have to be changed for economic reasons.
The taste really does remind me of root
beer. Does Jag have sarsaparilla in it?

All I know is
that the Hurricane in Kansas City has it on tap, and a farmer I was talking to in Northern Barvaria was shocked that
people actually drank the stuff as he used it as a linament to rub on the leg joints of his horses.
Much in the
same vein as karoke and gay sex, I\'ve never really been drunk enough to partake in Jagermeister. (And god knows
I\'ve been plenty drunk in my life. Just not that drunk.)

I love Jaegermeister! Nothing better for beer and shots, IMO.

Must admit that I\'ve grown to love the Jaggedmiser...especially if I\'m drinking Bass!
/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif They have it on tap at my hangout. It took me a while to warm
up to it, though. I\'ve had some bad experiences w/ the stuff. Not from my consumption, btw. Had an ex who was
expressly forbidden from drinking the stuff. Btw, Sacagoo, Tommy was guilty many times of slipping her a shot or 5
while I was at \"the trough\". Her usual angelic persona was transformed into something extremely evil and mean.
/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif Kinda like me and tequila.

Oh yea,
almost forgot...that drink sounds good, WH, I\'ll have to give it a shot.

Whitehall,
Considering the known effects of Damiana Liqueur, you could call your drink a
\"Jagged Edge\",
substituting a \"Y\" for the \"J\" in the pronunciation of course.

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif That\'s where she took me and got me drunk, the night she
picked me up down at The Shadow. She gave me the ol\' I need a ride home because my roommate ditched me routine.

I
found this recipe online. I have no idea if this is anything like the original Damiana liquor. I just thought I
would share it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
